Just a thought on Future Hawkmoth

Ever since the S4 finale title was revealed, I (like many others, I assume) have been giving a lot of thought to the identity of the Hawkmoth of the future.

We know that the entire class will be getting a miraculous - but that still leaves Chloe (and technically Lila) without one. So... what if CHLOE is the future butterfly user? I know the most popular candidate is Lila, and I agree that she is the most likely to take on the mantle. I just don't think that's a very interesting villain origin story. Lila has always and only been an antagonist, so there's nothing really to note about her continuing to antagonize Marinette and Adrien into adulthood. Also, come on. Do we as an audience really want to keep dealing with Lila either? I certainly don't.

Chloe however...

While I would argue that she never actually became a better person (I think every 'good deed' she does has a selfish motive?), she was Ladybug's ally and Adrien's friend.

So how interesting would it be for HER to be the new butterfly wielder???

Team Miraculous is more popular than ever, but Chloe only cares about one thing - that she isn’t on it. Replaced by new bee user Vesperia, Chloe has had enough. When she accidentally discovers the identity of Hawkmoth, instead of telling her father or Ladybug, she concocts a plan to steal the butterfly miraculous. With the unexpected help of Lila Rossi, they manage to obtain both the butterfly and peacock miraculouses. Now, Chrysalis and Pavona are the new villains in town. These two aren’t like Hawkmoth and Mayura… they have only one goal in mind - to destroy Ladybug.

Zoé may have been quoting the movie, but I am sure she genuinely means this. Regardless of how she behaves, Chloé is still her sister. She was willing to face Queen Banana if it would help.

And Chloé’s reaction. She clearly wasn’t expecting that. She’s not used to this kind of affection. She still had some resentment towards Zoé at the end, but I do believe this was a good first step to help Chloé become a better person.

Fiveya AU

I can’t stop thinking about an AU where Reggie wasn’t able to find meds that will make Vanya unable to use her powers, so it was pointless to make Alison to rumour her because she’ll discover her powers again. So Reginald just decided to get rid of her.

Children soon forget that she even existed (like they forgot about her powers in canon). Klaus is only one who can see her, but others don’t believe him when he tells them about an angry girl in Umbrella academy uniform who called Number Seven. Despite being a ghost, Seven still somehow grows and learns alongside her siblings. Over the years she develops a huge crush on Five and discovers that she is more like poltergeist than a ghost and she can affect the world of the living. So she begins to do some nice things for five like making him his favourite sandwiches that make him wonder who made them for him after he asked everyone about it. Then she begins to write him letters and they get to know each other and fall in love.

At first she doesn’t tell him that she is in fact a ghost and haunts the academy and he tries to find this mysterious girl but then he becomes suspicious and remembers about the girl Klaus always talks to (and who all siblings consider to be his imaginary friend). Five confronts Klaus about it and discovers that the girl he fell in love with was once one of his adopted siblings but she is long dead. After this discovery he becomes obsessed with time-travel because he wants to travel back in time and save her from their father.

But when he finally jumps he discovers that he is stuck in apocalypse (I believe that it could be caused not only by Vanya). But he is lucky and ghost Seven is still there because she grabbed his hand when he jumped (like Ben did with Klaus in the last episode). They find a way for her to possess a broken mannequin so she’ll be able to talk to him not only through written notes. They spend 45 years in tha Apocalypse together.

The Handler still asks Five to join the Commission but he agrees only if they somehow get Seven a body. Commission provodes Seven a body and they become Commission’s best time assassins and then break their contract and jump in 2019 8 days before the Apocalypse.

They appear on the day of Reginald’s funeral and everyone is shocked not only by teen Five sudden appearance buy also by teen girl who claims to be Number Seven - their long dead sister who they don’t remember and Klaus’s imaginary friend.

Because a body given her by comission doesn’t need to look as old as Five does. Why give old body to your new assassin if you can give her a young one? They were making a body anyway. Why don’t make it young. Asassins could do without aching joints and other aging problems after all.
