I spent hours working on scrolling down to find my very first KPOP post on my tumblr feed. It’s been three years since I have truly been active on tumblr and over 6 years since I started this blog but with the loss of Jonghyun yesterday I knew which community I could reach back into in order to grieve this wonderful man the way he deserves. SHINee was the very first KPOP band I listened to and though I do not constantly listen to it the way I did in middle school and high school, I am proud to say that Jonghyun was someone who brought light in my life through his music. He did so much for people who were discriminated against and cared greatly for human rights. You worked hard Jonghyun. Thank you for your light all these years.
