So, hiking might be my favorite thing in the whole world. I love the sun, and moving, and it definitely helps me keep away the demons in my head. If you’re a close friend you probably know that I had a pretty shitty end to my hiking season last September when I met a really nasty man on the trail. Well I saw him today and my head nearly popped off. But after a few minutes I realized how many good, like genuinely good, nice, and happy people I’ve talked to and how the community will always have my back and I felt a huge weight lift off my shoulder. So I guess that’s a long winded way of saying good people make everything better and to keep them close. 😊🍃 (at Royal Arch Cascade)

I’m afraid of a lot of things. I’m afraid of fucking up and not being good enough. Those fears keep me back from a lot of amazing things-if only I’d open myself and my heart up to them! I tried a lot of new things in this piece-things I didn’t want to do because I couldn’t take them back if I messed up. But sometimes you just have to jump into it!
