Jimmy was quite embarrassed that even Athena knew about the times he’d gotten his ass kicked and so on yet tried hiding it from her.“Sometimes I’m tempted to but- y'know…complications and promises. All that stuff.”

 He chuckled quietly in the process of returning the kiss ever so gently upon wrapping both of his arms around her waist after shifting his position. Even the littlest kisses from her sent chills down his spine. “Mi-Mind telling me what ya have in mind, ma'am?” He questioned behind a softer tone, almost similar to a whisper as his hands gripped the back of her shirt lightly. “O-Okay…the neck kisses don’t help.” Although, they did feel good, Jimmy couldn’t help but warn her even as his entire face had flushed with color.

Gently, she pushed back his  hair, staring  at him. She had always found him very attractive. It felt slightly surreal  being with him now-especially like this. She bit her lip, face flushing. Mayim rose to her feet  with a sigh of relief. 

“Thank you, Sire. I will do my best to enjoy my trip,” she smiled before bowing and departing the room.She departed his chambers swiftly, joining her grandpa. They returned to Gotham where the Wayne Family threw a party fro them. Mayim was very touched. The next night, she resumed her viligante duties.  This lasted a few weeks. On her last night in Gotham, she was a bridesmaid in Barbara Gordan’s and Dick Grayson’s wedding. It was a beautiful ceremony, but felt a pang of loss. A part of her still loved Dick Grayson. Pushing those feelings, Mayim returned to Asgard.  She immediately headed to his chambers, knocking on his door.

Whinnie drove the entire way to her new home silently, refusing to talk to her father since he was the reason she had to leave. He’d given her away to some random man in return for some large company investment. She’d been broken away from her previous relationship, leaving her indescribably mad at her parents for agreeing to this deal.

Ian frowned. Her sudden anger only lessened her natural beauty slightly. Ian let out a sigh, dropping his hand.

“I’m sorry, Whinnie. I didn’t mean to upset you. I had assumed that your father had told you about our arrangement. I am truly astonished”

“yeah well he didn’t” she grumbled, walking in and looking around quickly. “so wheres my room?” she asked, hoping that they wouldn’t end up sharing with each other. “Also did my piano arrive yet? I want to check its okay and didnt get destroyed along with the rest of my life” she requested rudely. Her mother had forced her to dress up in a light pink summer dress made from a sheer floaty material, along with a pair of heels that clicked whilst she walked.

Despite her attiude, Ian smiled.  “Your piano arrived before you did. I took the liberty of placing it in your room” He led her upstairs to a lavish bedroom. Her piano was pressed against the corner of the room. “See? Safe and sound” he took her bags, setting them neatly on her large, king size bed. Ian straightened his suit. “ You look nice Whinnie”

“whatever” she grumbled, running her hand gently over the piano; enjoying the familiar feel of it beneath her fingertips as she gracefully played a few keys. “I’ll never stop fighting to break out of this agreement, you know that don’t you? I wont stop till I’m free” she told him angrily.

Ian watched her play for a moment then sighed at her words. He wished her father at informed about the agreement.  Whinnie’s attitude and rudeness was starting to irritate him. 

“…..Whinnie I don’t want you to feel like a prisoner in my home. I want you to be happy. Is there a way for us to compromise?” he sat down on the bed, watching her pensively.

“I want my piano teacher back. It keeps me sane. Thats all I ask” she replied simply, sitting at the piano, playing the keys gently and easily, the music softly flowing in perfect rythm. She began to sing softly to herself, not loud enough to be heard over the piano where Ian was sat. “All I ask is if, this is my last night with you. Hold me like Im more than just a friend, give a memory I can use, take me by the hand while we do what lovers do, it matters how this ends, because what if I never love again” she sang loudly with ease, her voice hitting the notes perfectly in sync with her fingers on the keys, eyes closed whilst she played. She continued the song, her voice packed with the emotion of the song, enough to bring tears to her eyes as she finished.

Mayim clutched the sheets as she watched the Asgardian depart. She was tempted to just pull him down on the bed and give him immense pleasure, however, she knew he would only push her away. He sighed as he made his way back to his chambers, confused by the Midgardian woman. He understood that their traditions were different than those of Asgard’s but he felt…disrespected in a way.

It isn’t like he had turned down her advances in a rude or crude way yet she lashed out at him as if he had been in the wrong. THIS was not acceptable to the God but he would not make the situation any bigger than it had to be.

With that, Loki settled into the reading nook of his personal chambers and went to work on reading over the daily reports from the various branches of the Palace.

After a full night’s rest, Mayim was in a much better mood. She knew she had acted childish and disrespectful toward the Asgardian. Lord Loki was more than welcoming and accommodating toward her. He could have imprisoned her for stealing the jewel. Instead, he gave her a place in his guard and gave her grandfather the best medical treatment in the universe.Swallowing her pride, Mayim knocked on the door of Lord Loki’s chambers, ready to apologize.

The God was going about his normal morning routine when he heard the knock on the door. In fact, he was just about to enter the bath. “Unless it is an emergency, could this wait until I have bathe and had a cup of caffee?” he called out in question.

Mayim’s face flushed at the idea of Lord Loki bathing. She pushed those dirty thoughts aside. She couldn’t like a horny young woman. She needed to be  mature and in control. 

“Um…. I wanted to apologize for my behavior last night my lord, It.was…disrespectful and childish. I promise I will not do it again”  she sighed, running her hair embarrassingly through her hair. “That’s all my Loki. Again, I am truly apologetic”

He perked up a bit when he realized it was Mayim outside the door. Honestly, he hadn’t expected an apology from her, at least not until after her trip. She was stubborn. He could see this in how she trained.

Going over to the door, the God opens it so they are face to face. “Your apology is appreciated and accepted. I just hope you have truly learned an important lesson in this.”

At his words, Mayim suddenly stiffened. He sounded like her father, which was truly aggravating and unattractive. She was a young woman not a little girl who misbehaved.Still,she was relived he had accepted her apology. However, she was suddenly anxious to leave Asgard for awhile. She needed to be in her own world. It would give her time to refocus.

Forcing her agitation aside, she kneeled with one knee on the ground to show respect and subservience.
