hello sweet members <3

it is with an exhausted and very humble i heart, i have to announce that cris and i have decided to convert seas into a closed rp for the foreseeable future. essentially, this will mean that the main will not be updated for the time being, we will not accept new members or address questions, and there will no longer be activity checks. there are many of us in this group who are still deeply invested in our muses and in the rp, so you may continue to write here with each other for as long as you wish. 

there IS a big chance that i will take on more help in the admin team and do a revamp of seas within the coming weeks or months, but after 7+ fantastic months of writing with you beautiful humans, we have to make this decision for the immediate future.

cris has essentially had to step away from the rp in recent weeks, and i have taken on much longer hours at work as covid restrictions ended here. additionally, i have some musician friends and i have accepted part time work helping them at their gigs and organizing for them. it’s really rewarding and exciting work, but i have to be honest with myself and acknowledge that my current schedule does not leave me with the time required to run seas, and enough creative energy to give it the love and attention it  ( and you all )  truly deserve. 

seas has meant so much to so many people, and i am extremely grateful and proud of what each and every one of you has helped build here over all these months. several people have told me that this was a safe space, a place of mental healing, an environment that revived their love for writing and/or rp, etc. for me, it has been a safe haven during some of the darkest periods of loss in my life. the characters and stories we have all helped to write here, and the relationships we have built here, have been intimately special.

i would love to keep up with you all and stay in contact moving forward, so i will post my discord in the ooc sideblog. please please add me and talk to me anytime <3 i’ll also contact yall if we do a revamp or reopen for apps and things.

even if life does not slow down and we dont do a revamp, i would be super open to doing reunion events on chatzy and random things in the future with yall. u can bet ur ass dean murphy is going to have an end of year bash lmaooo u cant get rid of him. river and dean murphy are forever embedded in my personal identity now, lol. i’m going to be stepping away for now but i will likely pop on to write from time to time when i can.

i love you all sooooo so so ooo sooooo much, and this really isn’t goodbye so please don’t freak out. we just need to do what we need to do for now. see you later. catch u soon. write with u in the future if you wish to continue here or return in the future.
