Welcome to the official blog for the newest Idol group in Inkadia, the C-Six! This is a rainbow-colored group of 3 Inklings and 3 Octolings!

Mio Kobayashi the Inkling (Name reference : Myopsida, an order of squids) He / They + Demi-Boy + Straight | Voice Claim : The Snatcher (A Hat In Time) Quiet, but easily annoyed. He'll snap quickly if you don't listen to his warnings of when to stop messing with him.

Caspian Ishikawa the Octoling (Name reference : Caspian sea) He / Any + Trans-Masc + Lesboy | Voice Claim : Sundrop (FNaF : Security Breach) The most adventurous of the group and often works on Salmon Run shifts at GrizzCo. Cove's twin brother.

Shellby Takahashi the Inkling (Name reference : Shell + Shelby) She / Her + Para-Girl + Bi-Lesbian | Voice Claim : Lizbert Megafig (Bugsnax) Easily excitable and often shouting, sometimes disturbing others. She doesn't mean to, but it's just something she has trouble controlling.

Finley Inoue the Octoling (Name reference : A fish fin) Any pronouns + Gender-Fluid + Unlabeled | Voice Claim : Veronica Sawyer / Barrett Wilbert Weed (Heathers The Musical : Off Broadway) A sleep-deprived and mood swing-prone Octoling who writes all the songs for the C-Six, trying their best but often falling asleep mid-writing session.

Cove Ishikawa the Octoling (Name reference : A small, sheltered inlet or bay with a narrow and restricted entrance) She / Any + Trans-Fem + Turigirl / Veldigirl | Voice Claim : Molly McGee (The Ghost And Molly McGee) The heart of the group. Cheerful, but not too excitable like Shellby, and calm, but not on the same level as Finley. Caspian's twin sister. Violette Suzuki the Inkling (Name reference : Not an ocean-based name, more color-based) They / It + Non-Binary + Pan & Ace | Voice Claim : Gangle (The Amazing Digital Circus) An anxious and quiet Inkling. They would've preferred to stay behind the scenes, but they can't just say no to their friends. It's a bit of a problem that they have, but they want to see their friends happy. BIG RUN SAFETY GUIDE!

Hello, everyone! Caspian Ishikawa from the C-Six here, ready to help everyone out during our current BIG Big Run! Remember, during these situations, your biggest concern should be your own safety, not just collecting the most eggs!

GrizzCo shifts are dangerous, I should know. I picked up the job a while back before the C-Six was started up, just to keep me and my sister afloat in our old apartment before things changed for the better. I racked up a whole lot of cash while working, despite all the injuries. However, that's not the point right now, let's go ahead into our safety guide!

1. KEEP CALM.

With a red sky above, running around all terrified isn't gonna keep you safe! Make sure you help everyone in need, no matter what the current situation is for either of you.

2. BE PREPARED.

Make sure to block all openings that Salmonids can come through, such as windows and doors, and carry whatever weapons you have at the moment. Try your best to block everything out, and if there's multiple people in your house, keep up the teamwork in order for you all to stay safe!

Just to be more careful, remember to close up the toilet, sink and any other place that's connected to the sewers, since Small Fry are notorious for getting lost in pipes and can easily make their way into your house from it.

3. DO NOT GO TO TURF WARS.

"But Caspian, I always do Turf War battles!" I understand that! Shellby loves them too, but please don't do it for now! We don't want anyone being harmed in the process, as Salmonids invade these places. It's not always that common to encounter the Salmonids, but you don't wanna get splatted, right? Exactly.

4. DO NOT GET HIRED DURING THIS TIME.

As an experienced GrizzCo employee, I can confirm for all of you that we don't get paid better for partaking in Big Runs. It really sucks, but it's just another reason why you shouldn't go for a shift if you aren't already working there!

5. DO NOT FOCUS ON GOLDEN EGGS.

We all get it, you're trying to each your quota so you don't fail or get fired, but please don't overdo it! Your main priority is keeping almost everyone in Inkopolis, Splatsville and anywhere else (depending on your location) from getting splatted! If your teammates are getting jumped, help them out! It probably will only take, like, a few seconds!

Cove paced back and forth in the studio, the others watching nervously. They've been working so hard recently and have still barely made any progress. "Oh Cod, oh Cod, oh Cod, what are we going to do???" Cove mumbled as she continued to pace. Caspian stood up and walked up to her, placing his hand on her shoulder with a smile on his face. "Sis, don't overdo it, please. You should just chill, y'know?" Cove looked back at her brother, responding with "Caspian, we don't have ANY IDEAS! We've been trying so hard to reach our dreams to be so popular, but we can't do that if all of our music is COVERS!" Caspian's smile slightly dropped, and he looked back at the others. Mio actually seemed a bit anxious, rather than how he normally looks pissed off. Shellby's loud and rambunctious demeanor was gone, replaced with blank silence. Finley seemed normal, but the others all knew Finley enough to know that they were probably planning something in a time like this. Violette slightly shrunk into themselves as it all continued on. "We need new, fresh ideas! Okay? Something original! Something showing that we're different from other groups!" Cove stopped pacing, standing to face the rest of the group, making sure that each and every one of them were paying attention to her words. "Something that shows that we're GREAT!" Before anyone could bring up any ideas, Finley quickly replied. "Chroma-Crash?" Everyone else turned to look at him, a bit confused. It was obvious that the others needed an explanation. "...'Chroma' is part of colors, of course. And '-Crash' fits the whole energy of idols like us. Especially Shellb." Shellby excitedly nodded in response. "YEAH, YEAH! Finley's onto something! And you wanted it to show that we're great, maybe it can be all about our origins, where we came from and how we all met!" Cove paused, thinking about it. "...that's... an amazing idea. Oh my Cod." She smiled again, now no longer overthinking things. "That's actually perfect! We should've done that as our debut, actually." "Should I announce it to those who follow us already?" Finley asked in her regular, sleepy voice, only to get a head shake from Cove. "No, no, we don't have anything for it planned yet! And we don't want to procrastinate so much that we miss a release date." "...then maybe we could just... announce it with no release date for now...?" Violette mumbled. Mio spoke as well, suggesting "Or we could probably keep it as a secret project until it comes out." Cove quickly pointed right at Mio with an excited grin on her face. "YES! Sorry, sorry, I'm getting too excited, but that's great!" "Now we just gotta get ideas for how to write it, and how the melody would go... should we record a music video with it?" Everyone looked towards Caspian and gave some sort of 'yes'. A nod, thumbs up, etc. Caspian was surprised at how quickly everyone responded, but was happy that they all agreed. "Okie-Dokie-Golden Eggy, then! Just gotta figure out where and how to record it."
