I found a nice little set of these 40's-era menus from the Alaska Steamship Company that operated from Pier One in Seattle. Basically an early form of cruise ship. Of course Alaska didn't become a state until 1959, so at that point people were traveling up to Russia. Some of the food offerings sound delish, while others...not so much.
A Mt St. Helens ash pin made in the year it erupted (1980) by Mako Engravers out of Everett, WA. I was 11 years old the year it erupted and living in Spokane at the time. I still remember the black cloud of ash moving towards us from the west until it literally blackened the sky, causing everyone to drive around with their high beams on at 3 in the afternoon. Quite the memory.
One thing I always enjoy finding at sales is what I call "found art." That drawing or painting that someone created decades ago, then stashed away and forgot about it until someone like me discovers it years later in the back of a closet or tucked away amongst a pile of papers. This particular one I found a while back at an estate sale- a fantastic drawing of an outdoor light sconce. The artist included the address and name of the company (Perfeclite Mfg. Co.) and from this info I was able to determine that this sconce was from the Union Trust Building in the Pioneer Square neighborhood, and was drawn by the the artist sometime back in the 30's.
A few wooden nickels from local businesses that are no longer around, including Sambo's restaurant and The Happy Time Tavern.

Went to a really cool estate sale today and found a nice collection of vintage Seattle/Tacoma hot rod and car culture items. This is the cover of the official program for Seattle 3rd Annual Hot Rod and Custom Show from 1960.

Team photo of a car racing team from the Tacoma Speedway, circa 1922. The back of the photo has the team roster handwritten on it, and with names like Roscoe, Pops and Harlan, you know they were a formidable team!
Cool collection of vintage Seattle roadmaps
As anyone who collects vintage postcards probably knows, what is written on the postcard is often more interesting than the postcard itself. Case in point. Here we have a 1909 postcard from Spokane in which a dejected young lady is writing to her not-so-attentive romantic interest, flavored with slightly passive-aggressive undertones. It reads: "I attended church and Sunday School yesterday but failed to see you as expected. If I do not see you this is only to let you know that I still think of you in the same old way. I am leaving town tonight for the Academy again. -Flo"
Vintage bottle opener from longtime dive bar, the Marco Polo, located in Seattle's Georgetown neighborhood. They're still slinging drinks and are rumored to serve some of the best fried chicken in town.
Seattle has always had its share of eccentric personalities, including The Umbrella Man from the early 1900's. The Umbrella Man was a Civil War vet who could always be seen around town with his trademark umbrella hat and long white beard. He was so iconic that that he actually inspired his own cartoon strip in The Seattle Times.
Pin-up calendars from various 1940's-era Seattle businesses. All illustrations from famed pin-up artist, Earl Moran. The middle one was a up-and-coming starlet the world would later know as Marylyn Monroe! Purchased at an estate sale.
