So I visited a Birds of Prey location and yeah the Burrowing Owl is 100% Oogle.

The Barn Owl was handsome and definitely Saturn (although the fella wanted to zoom around and cause mischief), I did see a Golden Eagle but he was hiding out and not in any mood to deal with visitors lol.

I saw a few different Kites and honestly yeah! Fits Mars well.

The other Owls particularly did remind me of the Rogues a lot!

I did put way too much thought into everyone’s species so I’m glad other people think they fit! There were probably an overabundance of birds of prey in my choices but oh well I can’t help that I love them

What is your favorite bird?

People ask me this and honestly I can’t answer don’t make me choose one if there was a gun to my head the gun would go off lmao

Like I can’t pick one specific species? I really like most birds of prey, for instance, and owls and pigeons hold a special place in my heart for kind of being the beginning of this special interest. On my walks, I love seeing red kites and I want to get a red kite tattoo, so I guess red kites are pretty high up? I love my local birds in general, especially common visitors like robins and I tried to befriend the rooks near my house, although they weren’t that interested sadly

But then I also love birds with colour, like kingfishers, hummingbirds and peafowl. I got to see lilac breasted rollers a few years ago and they are probably my favourite colour-wise? Flamingoes too, probably, and Eurasian jays. And because I collect feathers, my favourites tend to be the ones with cool colouring but then those aren’t necessarily my favourite birds if that makes sense?

And then it’s just so interesting to learn about habits like weaver birds and their nests, and brood parasitism with cuckoos and cowbirds and just so many other species that exhibit fascinating behaviours . Also the ‘weird’ birds like shoebills and potoos and frogmouths because I find them adorable

I like the big ones, too. Just the birds which are huge. Condors (I’ve seen Andean condors in person and they’re so amazing), albatrosses, cassowaries, pelicans etc. I also like gannets and penguins I guess, and terns

Gahhh I can’t choose it’s mean to make me choose

tldr is I really don’t have a favourite. People who know me think irl it’s pigeons and yeah I like pigeons well enough and usually when asked I say birds of prey, or I go onto a ramble like on here lol

Hey Sun-splotches! I have a little idea for Earth Peacock:

Usually, peacocks start shaking their tails when defending their territory and sometimes, in certain cases, oneself or someone else (or to compete during mating season, ahem)…

Now, imagine an AU where, during the Moon Revolution, Earth saw Luna being held captive and reacted with such furious display (after all, no one would dare take his little brother prisoner!) that some of the other moons could barely keep themselves from bolting because the Earth seemed terrifyingly huge to them…😁

Hi! I recently learnt that these exist (red-tailed black cockatoo),

and I was thinking they'd make a pretty interesting solarbird, with the stary patterns on the females at least? Maybe as that hypothetical twin the Sun might’ve had or even a black hole? Just an idea I wanted to show you!

When you said it could be for the hypothetical solar sibling I immediately was hit with this mental image

Anyway that bird looks really cool! I keep being surprised by the variety of colours cockatoos come in that one legitimately looks like it should not be real

Anyway I’ve been thinking about it for a while and maybe it could fit Coatlicue since the females have the starry patterns? And then that entire family of stars are just different types of cockatoo lmao. I really wish we saw more stars in the show then I could do a lot of cool things with different birds sighhhh
