“Well, I’ve gone a whole month with out someone threatening to kill me,” Sebastian said, slightly amused. “Picked up a crap job, living the life I guess,” he shrugged, finishing his glass of wine.

Puck chuckled. “And have sex with a hot guy on the side?” he asked slyly.

Sebastian chuckled, “That too,” he winked.

He smirked back at him. “Glad you enjoy it as much as I do.”

He chuckled and contemplated another slice of pizza before finally taking one omre and putting it on his plate. “You don’t normally fool around with guys though, do you? I was under the impression you went for girls more often than not.”

“No, not usually…but it happens occasionally,” Puck shrugged. “I am more of a ladies man though.”

Sebastian grinned and finished his last slice of pizza, wiping his hands on his napkin and finishing the glass of wine in front of him. He wondered curiously if Puck with with guys occasionally out of convenience, or if there was another reason, but he figured it probably wasn't a good question to ask out loud.

“That’s good,” Sebastian said. “How about Quinn, are they close, her and Beth?” He took a slice of pizza but left it on his plate, waiting for it to cool.

“Ah, she hasn’t really seen her much since she was two… Shelby gives her updates, but I was the one that was really there during Beth’s childhood,” he shrugged, biting into his piece.

Sebastian nodded in understanding. “Well I’m sure you’re a good dad,” he said, finally taking a bite of his pizza.

“Thanks,” he said, smiling wanly at him, devouring half his slice.

Sebastian smiled a little at him and then finished off his first slice of pizza, moving to a second one and drinking from his wine glass.

He rubbed the back of his neck. “Yeah, I think so. It’s weird, I mean, I still have really strong feelings for her, but she’s kinda…distant. I dunno.”

“Is Beth there with you too?” Sebastian asked, letting the curiosity get the better of him. “Sorry, shut me up if I’m prying, I tend to get nosy.”

“No, it’s fine,” he answered. “Beth’s with her adoptive mom, still in California. She’s supposed to come visit soon, they both are.”

“Oh that’s good,” Sebastian said. Their pizza was delivered and their wine glasses refilled. “Do you miss her? Your daughter? California’s a little far from New York…”

“I’m partial to lots of meat on my pizza. Sausage, pepperoni, ham, chicken- whatever,” Puck answered.

There was a ‘lots of meat’ gay joke there somewhere but Sebastian was too tired to articulate it. “Agreed,” he said. The waiter brought them their wine , pouring their glasses and leaving the bottle. Sebastian raised his glass to Puck. “Salute,” he smiled, taking a sip.

They met the taxi outside and Sebastian held the door open for Puck before they headed off to town.

Puck released Sebastian’s hand to slide into the cab and didn’t bother taking hold of it again when he sat. He stared out the window, stifling a yawn. “This place is awesome…”

“Right? I’ve actually never been to this part of Italy, I’ve only been to Milan,” he looked out his window.

“That’s still more of Italy than I’ve seen,” Puck responded, glancing over at him.

“That is true,” Sebastian nodded. “An I promise to make sure to show you as much as I can before we head back to boring old New York,” he grinned and the taxi pulled up to a stop. He thanked the cabbie and they got out of the car where the main street of town was.

“Good, I’m glad,” Puck answered, looking around the street.

“C’mon, the better food is always away from the tourists street,” he jerked his head to the side and walked a couple blocks down before finding the restaurant he had googled. It wasn’t until he was outside the front door that Sebastian realized he didn’t speak any Italian, and his french was pretty much useless. So when the host at the front asked what Sebastian assumed was how many people, he just pointed between himself and Puck. “Um…two?”
