mostlyvillainous:
As Sebastian spoke, Beau listened. He’d been learning patience since the rebellion began, but patience was something he’d always had for his twin. And Sebastian was smiling, which filled him with a warmth that he hadn’t felt since before the fire that had separated them. When his twin was done speaking, he leaned in to steal another kiss, then let his affection travel by kissing his wrist before speaking.
“Let’s get out of here,” he said quietly, wanting to shrug off the fog he’d allowed himself to sulk in. This was a place he had come to in order to drink his sorrows away, but now he had Sebastian. He didn’t need alcohol. He didn’t need the dark. “I want to get you alone, where only my eyes can fall upon you.”
Beau was different Sebastian could tell, who wouldn’t be? Not even Sebastian himself was the same as he once was before all this. And Beau had been impacted by this so much more than Sebastian had. He kissed his brother back before Beau moved to kiss his wrist, it was something Beau had done before many a time. There was practically no place on Sebastian’s body that Beau hadn't kissed before.
When Sebastian heard Beau’s words he couldn’t help but let out the smile he had dubbed the ‘Beau smile’ it was the smile that only seemed to happen when his brother was around. “Then let’s go, I always did like getting you alone.” He said with a smirk letting Beau take him away, he didn’t need anything else. Not now, not ever. Not as long as he had Beau with him.
