I do trust you, so I believe you when you say that you knew all along when the masks come off. It is. And I think that means that you know exactly who I am.

Really? I thought it was obvious. I thought everyone would have me figured out in an hour. Apparently a lot of people couldn’t figure me out, though, so I’m surprised.

People like you? Nice guys? I can’t imagine a case where that’d be true. I can’t either. I know we’re going to have a lot of fun. I’d hope I’m a good friend, though not as good a one to you as I’d hoped seeing as we fell out of touch. Yeah, I completely understand. [bumps his hip lightly with a smile] I’m glad to have a friend like you then.
Want to hazard another guess? I am too, we shouldn’t have stopped. I already have a bunch of ideas to throw your way, I can’t wait. Well, I like things that make me feel something. Like one of my favorites is The Book Thief, ages before the movie came out. I like classics too, Bronte, Austen, Poe, stuff like that.

He got one for her first, then him giving it to her] There you are... [politely he offered it to her, not letting go until he was sure she had it]
Jett, when we talked, you were nothing but a gentleman. One of the nicest guys I’ve ever met to be honest. Why wouldn’t I want to talk to you? [laughed, almost forgetting they were swaying on the dance floor] I could always do with more guy friends.
… Just… fell out of contact I suppose.Now that I’m talking to you again, I regret it. I don’t think I’m ever going to actively want you to go anywhere. Unless I tell you to go to hell… [teases back] I’m glad you are. Monarch could use more guys like you. I know we will. I’m sure you’re a brilliant writer. Who knows? Maybe I’ll be forcing you to write more to keep me entertained.
Stranger things have happened - people prefer to stay away from people like me...? I don't know, but it is a thought. Thank you though, and I can't wait to talk to you again when we are not behind some masks. I'm sure we'll get along well like we are now. I do too regret it, because I can tell you're someone good to have around, like .a good friend. Maybe we shouldn't regret it though, and things turn around to bring that contact back, you know. [Grins a little, nodding] I'll always be your friend.
[He laughed, then nodded, glad for the friendship now] Monarch could use more people like you too. If you're who I think you are (which I might now), I just am sorry if I stopped talking to you, or even vice-versa. We will, and ha, you think so? My writing to keep you entertained? Hello Ella. Did you enjoy yourself, and still are, I hope?
[the corner of her mouth quirked up] Nah, I’m glad I know who you are. Though I have no idea why your accent didn’t give you up immediately. I’d really like to keep talking to you after the masks come off. [chuckles] Alright, I’ll hold you to that.
When you first came? We had a couple really long, fantastic conversations, and then… we kinda just stopped talking. To be honest, I thought you disappeared. The last thing you said was that you promised to show me some of your stories.
Ha, well I tried to not let it be obvious like it normally, but I failed in that sense. I'm happy to know you're glad to know who I am - That it won't make you stop talking to me following this night. [he smiled, nodding] Good, likewise. We will keep talking...I'll hold you to that as well [he laughed a little genuinely]
I don't like that....I'm sorry, but why did we stop? It won't happen this time though, so if we start talking again, I'll be there all the time. It might be me bothering you then you wish I would go, mhm [he was teasing, well to some degree] Well, maybe I just kept to myself, but I'm still here. I'll definitely show you one of my stories, promise. I won't forget this time... I won't leave either, like just have two long conversations to only go. We'll have good times with our conversations/sharing of stories, or well I hope.
[sways with him, soothed by the hug and the gentle rocking. She meets his eyes evenly] I doubt it to be honest with you. I’ve been horrible at guessing who the men behind the masks are. [a cryptic smile fills her face] Maybe… maybe not… I did not lie to you though. I’d like to still dance, this is nice. [With his gaze meeting hers too, he listened to her while they swayed] I'm still thinking now if it would be better you didn't know who I was, because honestly, following this, of course I'll still talk to you, but the other way around, would you? [he nodded while he asked with honesty then told her] Okay, so I hope I'll find out then....why wouldn't I wish to keep talking with you? I definitely will.
