I’m taking this thing off. The feathers keep tickling my forehead.

I feel like I haven't talked to nearly enough people.

Do you think so? It could be taken as a passive approach. And how about your night, has it gone the way you’d hoped thus far?

Yeah I think so, being passive isn't necessarily a bad thing. My night has definately had some surprises but its pretty good also.

I’ll have to think on that.

By virtue of laziness most likely. I guess if I’d wanted to, I could have gone about making moves on everyone I met, so in some regard you could call it by choice. I’m more or less letting the cards fall where they may. Even if I don’t get into anything, watching these students is rather entertaining.

Yeah you could of, that seems to be a lot of people's aproach. Watching always gives you a source of entertainment so that's good in a way. But, letting the cards fall where they may seems like a better approach to take.

Is there such a thing as interesting enough?

I’ve been doing quite a bit of people watching, and by comparison, you could say my night’s been quite tame.

Well it's definitely possible.

Is your night being tame by choice or did you actually want it that way?

Okay, well what could I say - I wasn’t born here, but moved where I have some family.  If we’ve spoken before, you might know who I am.  If you wish to know anything, you may ask too [ he nodded then brought them from the dance floor to where the drinks were, smiling.  He got one for her first, then him giving it to her]  There you are… [politely he offered it to her, not letting go until he was sure she had it]

Would telling me some of your hobbies give you away? [She asked him softly before taking the drink from him.] Thank you. Are you always this nice and polite or is it just a tonight kind of thing?

Anyone up to the task of making my night even more interesting?

I'll talk to you. Your night hasn't been interesting enough by now?

[sebastianoconnell]

That’s nice of you to ask, so thanks. [He nodded genuinely.]  It’s not something bad, but it won’t make me guess who you are.  What else would I not know about that you could share? I’m curious to know if we’ve spoken before, but I guess I’ll never know. [He was rambling now, so he stopped] Yes, well let’s go get that drink, if you wish…

Anytime. [She told him softly.] I think it's your turn to tell me something about you, then maybe at least I'll know if we've talked before. [She said with a smile and then nodded.] Yeah, let's go get that drink now.

You’re welcome.  Yes, of course I am, thanks [he nodded, smiling.]  I see, so you’re adventurous that something crazy would be your preference if we didn’t dance?  [He laughed] I wouldn’t know, but if not the bank, what is the ‘something’?

Well that's good, I just wanted to make sure. [She laughed a little and shrugged.] I guess you could say that. [She told him.] You wanted to get a drink right? That would be something we could do without the bank robbing.

I hope so, but if at any time it’s not kind of fun, let me know then we’ll do something else, or  whatever you please, you should do [he told her sincerely, somewhat finding the fun of this event again]

That's really sweet Sebastian, thanks. Are you having a bit more fun now too? [She asked him with a smile.] And you saying whatever like that is crazy, what if I decide I want to rob a bank or something?

[He kept dancing then twirled her gently round, smiling.  He wasn’t sure he was the best dancer, but if she had fun, it was worth it to see]

[She smiled at him again as they continued to dance.] Thanks for this, you're making this ball kind of fun again.

[On the dance floor, he smiled then positioned themselves to begin their dance.]

[She smiled and began to dance with him.]

Okay. [She took his hand and walked with him out of the main ballroom and into one of the empty smaller ones. Then she pulled he mask off quickly to show him who she was and put it back on.]

Yeah I'd be alright with that.

Of course I want to know. [He lays his hand against her cheek and leans closer to her to whisper in her ear.] Show me who you are, Alex.

Fine..but I'll show you in a place that isn't surrounded by so many people.

You’re welcome, Alexandra.  Yes, we shall…  [he gave his hand for her so they could go the dance floor together]

Great [She smiled and took his hand as they walked over to the dance floor.]
