The Offer
Early in the fall, during their seventh year at Hogwarts, the usual suspects found themselves on the path to Hogsmeade to enjoy a day outside of the castle. They were full of joy and anticipation for their final year at school. Having made a pact with each other to make the most of every moment, the opportunity arose for a spur of the moment trip into the small town. Poppy wanted to pick up some things for Highwing. Ominis followed Poppy wherever she went these days. The two had become a couple towards the end of the last school year and had practically been inseparable ever since. They had both invited MC to tag along. Not wanting to be a third wheel, MC had drug Sebastian with her. Although it hadn’t taken too much effort on her part to convince him to accompany her. She practically had him wrapped around her little finger and everyone knew it, except for MC that is.
Once the group had arrived at their destination, MC announced that she needed to go see Albie Weeks at Spintwitch’s. He was working on a new broom upgrade for her and she wanted to check on the progress. The others had offered to go with her, but she had insisted that they run their errands and she would meet them at the Three Broomsticks when she was finished. Sebastian had elected to head to Tombs and Scrolls instead of following the lovebirds around Hogsmeade. He watched as Poppy and Ominis walked off hand-in-hand to gather the supplies Poppy needed. He tried to ignore the envious thoughts he had of his best friend as he turned to make his way toward his preferred destination.
After coming up empty handed, Sebastian decided to make his way to the Three Broomsticks. He could at least get started on a few butterbeers while he waited for the others. However, as he turned up the street, he caught sight of MC. She was headed into Flutes and Lutes, which struck him as odd. In all the years he has known her, he has never once known her to go into the music shop. With his curiosity thoroughly peaked, he followed her.
Upon entering the shop, Sebastian was immediately hit with the sound of someone beautifully playing a piano. He had always adored that instrument. The tune playing was familiar to him. It brought up many fond memories, ones that he had not thought of in some time. Memories of sitting at the piano with his mother as she played that same song for him over and over. She had played it for him continuously, no matter how many times he asked for that same song in a row.
He momentarily abandoned his search for MC to locate the source of the music. As he rounded the corner, he stopped dead in his tracks, convinced his eyes were deceiving him. He rubbed his eyes just to be sure he was really seeing what he thought he was seeing.
At the upright piano, tucked into the back corner of the store, sat MC. She was completely engrossed in the music and had not noticed her audience. Sebastian’s mouth hit the floor! MC was the source of that hypnotizing melodic sound that was filling his ears! He was dumbfounded, mesmerized even. He watched her as her fingers expertly floated across the keys. Goose bumps formed on his arms. Sure, he’d seen her do so many impressive things over the years. Like watching her absolutely throttle four other students in a duel during crossed wands or skillfully dismantle a goblin camp. He’d even seen her best both Leander and Garreth in a competition to see who could eat the most cauldron cakes. The last accomplishment had secretly been his favorite. That was until today. This… Her ability to play the piano was quite possibly his new favorite thing about her.
As the song came to an end, Sebastian spoke, “You never told me you could do that…”
She jumped, startled, and whipped around on the bench to look at him, “Sebastian! What are you doing here?”
He smiled at her and took a few steps to cross the room to stand in front of her. “I saw you come in here and was curious. So, I followed you. Why have you never told me you can play like that?”
She shrugged, “I don’t know… I suppose it never really came up?”
“MC, you snuck in here to play without telling us…”
She sighed, “I know… I do it sometimes. I used to play a lot before… Well, before I started school here. Then, once I got here, there just didn’t seem to be time. It was nice to just do something for myself… You know?”
Sebastian nodded and took a seat next to MC on the piano bench. “I get it… I am sorry for intruding, but you do play wonderfully.”
MC shook her head and grabbed Sebastian’s arm as she met his eyes, “You are definitely not intruding, Sebastian. I do not mind sharing with you…”
While staring into each other’s eyes, they were quiet a moment too long. Sebastian cleared his throat, “My mother used to play that song for me all the time. She had tried to teach me to play, but I didn’t have the patience at the time…” He trailed off, a far off look on his face.
In an attempt to lighten the mood, MC squeezed his arm and playfully offered, “I could teach you now you know… I know your patience hasn’t improved much, but surely it has a smidge?”
Sebastian looked slightly shocked. He began shaking his head from side to side before he even spoke, “Oh… MC, thank you for offering, but I don’t think so. I don’t think it's really for me. I did enjoy hearing you play today though and I’d love to hear you play again.”
MC simply nodded and released his arm.
Sebastian abruptly stood and reached his hand out in an offer to help MC up from the bench. “Let’s go get some butterbeer,” he said with a question in his voice.
She smiled up at him and took his hand. Allowing him to lead her out of the music shop and down the street to the pub, where her other friends were likely already waiting on them.
A few weeks had gone by since MC’s offer to teach Sebastian to play the piano. Neither of them had brought it up again. MC had half expected him to blab to Poppy and Ominis that afternoon at the Three Broomsticks, but he had remained silent on the topic.
The four of them had been studying in the library all that afternoon. Poppy and Ominis had actually been doing more flirting than studying, effectively annoying Sebastian and MC both. They were in the middle of studying for a big potions exam and the two lovebirds were a major distraction. Even when they weren’t whispering to one another, they were constantly touching each other. Poppy caught MC rolling her eyes at her more than once, which did make MC feel somewhat bad. She was thrilled that her best friend was so incredibly happy, but also slightly jealous at the same time.
MC chanced a quick glance at Sebastian. She had hoped that their friends beginning to date would cause him to finally make a move on her, but alas, nothing had changed between the two of them. By this point, she was certainly convinced that he only desired her as a friend and nothing more, which secretly made her heart ache.
After the fifteenth time of Poppy squealing from Ominis tickling her under the table, MC snapped, “Will you both just get a room already! SOME OF US ARE ACTUALLY TRYING TO STUDY HERE!”
Sebastian’s head popped up to look at MC as the rest of the students in the library shushed her. Poppy and Ominis blushed and apologized. They began to pack up their things.
“Wait.. You don’t need to leave. I am sorry for snapping at you both, I am just tense from this test,” Mc tried to explain.
Poppy shook her head, “No, you are right, MC. We are being inconsiderate of your time. We obviously aren’t getting much studying done. We will head out and stop distracting the two of you. Come on, Ominis.” She reached out and grabbed his hand.
“So, sorry. I will see you in the dorm later, Sebastian,” Ominis said as he nodded to the two of them and allowed Poppy to drag him out of the library.
“Well they certainly didn’t complain about being kicked out of the study group,” Sebastian joked.
MC shook her head with a smile, “They are probably just going to go make out somewhere.”
MC met Sebastian's eyes and then she casually glanced down at his lips. He noticed her eyes traveling and he blushed, “I bet you are right…” He quickly turned his attention back to his book and resumed studying.
Several hours later, Ms. Scribner started her rounds around the library, ordering students out of her library. MC began to pack her things up. She looked over to Sebastian, who was staring at her, looking like he was considering asking her something.
What are you contemplating there? You might strain a muscle if you think about it any harder,” she jested playfully.
He stood up from the table and they both began walking towards the exit. “I’ve been thinking about your offer…”
MC whipped around to him a bit shocked, “Oh Merlin, what offer!” She didn’t remember what he was talking about and was more than a little concerned about what might possibly come out of his mouth next.
He stuttered for a moment, “Oh.. oh well.. I… nevermind. It’s not a big deal.”
MC stopped and grabbed his hands, “No, tell me what offer, Sebastian.” She forced him to meet her eyes for a moment.
“Out! Both of you get going! Curfew is approaching,” Scribner yelled at the two of them.
He sighed and resumed walking out of the library. Once they were on the other side of the door, he reached into his bag and pulled out a book of sheet music and handed it to MC, not meeting her eyes, “This was my mother’s. I was hoping, if the offer still stood, that maybe you wouldn’t mind teaching me?”
MC could tell he was nervous, “Oh…. that offer. Of course I will, Sebastian! Meet me in the Astronomy Tower tomorrow after dinner.” She placed the precious sheet music in her bag. The pair walked mostly in silence back to their common room before parting for the evening.
The next day drug on perilously slow for Sebastian. He was excited and anxious to not only begin lessons, but also to spend time alone with MC. After dinner that evening, Sebastian finally was climbing the stairs to the Astronomy Tower. With each step he took, he couldn’t help but wonder why in the hell he was climbing all these stairs for piano lessons of all things. Why weren’t they going to the music room? As he rounded the corner, he saw MC leaning against the wall.
“Why did you make me trudge all the way up here again?” He asked as he approached her.
She pointed towards the wall across from her and a door appeared out of nowhere.
“THE ROOM OF REQUIREMENT, MC!” Sebastian yelled a little too loudly.
MC shushed him and grabbed his arm, leading him through the door that had appeared. The room was different today than how it normally appeared for MC. Today it was relatively empty, with a large black grand piano in the center with several candelabras scattered throughout the room.
Sebastian’s mouth was on the floor, “I’ve read about this room in books, but never imagined that my best friend not only knew of its existence but was also holding out on me! How long have you been hiding this from me?” He playfully swatted her arm as he spoke.
MC blushed, “Well, since fifth year… Don’t be mad at me. I really haven’t been using it much the last year or so.”
He turned and made eye contact with her, “You mean to tell me that we could have been up here instead of the Undercroft! Any other secrets you’ve been keeping from me, MC?” He grinned and raised his eyebrows at her.
MC blushed a terrific shade of red. Her mind immediately raced to her feelings for him, but that was not something she was prepared to confess at this moment. Sebastian noticed her reddening cheeks, but chose to drop the issue for now. However, he did make a mental note for later.
MC moved toward the piano and sat down on the bench. She patted the spot next to her, “Come on, let’s get started.”
Sebastian took his spot on the bench next to her. MC began the lesson by teaching him scales and basic chords as well as helping him learn to read music. That was all that they worked on the first few weeks.
They had agreed to meet three times a week for an hour at a time. After all, they still had their school work to maintain. Frankly, Sebastian was growing bored with the basics, but any time she moved on to more complicated material, he failed miserably. Sometimes, he struggled with even the basics. It was as if he made progress one lesson, only to take two steps back during the next one. While her fingers gracefully flowed across the keys, Sebastian's felt harsh and uncoordinated. He had never been one to really struggle with anything. Everything he had ever tried had always come naturally to him. But music, the piano, they were proving to be a foreign language to him. When he thought he had enough and just wanted to be done, MC was always there to encourage him. She swore to him that she had struggled in the same manner, but he didn’t believe her in the slightest.
After a few months of lessons, Sebastian was feeling wholly defeated and he was ready to call it quits. Although, he had been enjoying the private time with MC. If he was honest with himself, that was mainly the only reason he had even continued these lessons. He lived for the moments when she would touch him by adjusting his hand placement. He’d never admit it, but at times, he purposefully mucked things up in hopes that she would correct him. Sometimes, she would rub his back lightly in encouragement, when he was especially defeated. So, he supposed he would stick out these awful lessons for as long as she was willing to tolerate them.
Then, out of nowhere, one day it just clicked. The music notes didn’t just look like blobs on the page. They actually made sense to him. Well, a little more sense anyway. That little bit of progress encouraged him to double down on his efforts. He wasn’t solely focused on spending alone time with MC. He was equally excited for the lesson itself. Soon, he was able to play full songs.
During the following lesson, MC reached down into her bag and pulled out his mother’s sheet music, “I think you’re ready, Sebastian.” She held the music in both hands, while wiggling it back and forth in front of his face.
He just stared at the music in her hand and nervously said, “Are you sure?”
She grinned and nodded as she set up the music for him. He took a deep breath and began to play and he played it perfectly. He was absolutely shocked and a giant grin spread across his face. He immediately began reminiscing of sitting on that bench with his mother all those years ago. Oh, how he wished he had the patience to spend that extra time with her while she taught him to play, but he would never complain about his current teacher. He didn’t think he would trade her, even for his mother. He had truly treasured this time with MC.
As he completed the song, a small tear escaped and rolled down his cheek. He never dreamed he would be able to play that song. MC noticed the tear and reached her hand up to wipe the tear away.
Sebastian turned to look at her, meeting her eyes. Her hand paused where it was touching his cheek. “Sorry, I just… I don’t know why I did that.” She went to pull her hand away and he reached up to grab it, holding her in place.
“MC, you have absolutely nothing to apologize for. Thank you for your patience with me and for being willing to spend your precious time on a lost cause like me.”
MC smiled at him and said, “You are not and have never been a lost cause, Sebastian Sallow.” She didn’t know what came over her then, but she freed her hand from Sebastian’ to caress the side of his face. She leaned in, pressing a light kiss against his lips.
Sebastian was caught off guard. He had harbored feelings for this girl since fifth year and had believed that she didn’t return the affection. He had flirted with her incessantly, but she had always remained oblivious to it. He had thought that was on purpose. His shock must have shown through in the kiss.
After feeling him stiffen at her kiss, MC sat back abruptly and said, “Oh Merlin, Sebastian… I am so sorry.. I don’t know what came over me! Please forgive me!” She should have known that he didn’t return her feelings. If he had, he would have already made a move. She only hoped that she hadn’t completely ruined their friendship.
Sebastian's eyes searched hers for what felt like an eternity before a giant smile spread across his face. “About damn time,” he muttered as he grabbed the back of her head and brought her face back to his so he could properly kiss her this time.
I've read a lot of great fanfiction recently about Seb and Omi becoming dads, and I feel like drawing a lot of them living happily ever after as dads 🥳
Quick little sfw drabble inspired by this beautiful art from @jikasei_san
Sebastian thought it was cute that his girlfriend would pet nearly every passing cat in Hogwarts or Hogsmeade, even if it meant that they would be late for class it was worth it to hear her squeal when the cat would rub their face up against her hand.
While he thought her devotion to them was cute, Sebastian had always avoided the cats on campus. Cats were fine he supposed, but the red itchy eyes and dripping nose they would give him made him keep his distance.
It had never been much of an issue, as long as he didn’t touch any cats he wouldn’t have any problems, and that worked fine until one day his girlfriend came back to the Slytherin common room with a frail little orange patterned kitten, who looked too small to even walk properly.
With tears in her eyes she told her boyfriend and Ominis about finding the little guy sitting outside a drainage port, wet and shaking. She had picked the little thing up and wrapped it in her green scarf. Imelda had jumped up to help her clean off and care for the kitten in the girl’s bathroom.
“You’re fucked.” Is all Ominis had to say to his best friend.
Sebastian had innocently tried to sway you from keeping the cat, telling you that the beasts you took care of with Poppy was enough, the cat might be better suited to live with the other cats on campus, but you were infatuated with the little thing and how could he really deny you anything.
So his next maneuver was to just ignore the little thing. Once it had gotten a few days of love and feeding the little beast was a rocket, bouncing all over the common room, following her to the room of requirement, all over campus, she’s been started hiding the little guy in her robes so she could bring him to the library or class. Sebastian didn’t even need to touch the little thing, he was simply in it’s presence so often that his allergies had started acting up.
After the kitten had gotten slightly bigger, he started getting more adventurous. It was at this phase that the cat fell in love with Sebastian. They were constantly trying to crawl in his lap or lick his hands. Wanting to perch on the tall boy’s shoulder to get better vantage points of the common room. He almost felt bad for pushing the little guy away, but he was sick of all the itching.
It doesn’t help that he can see the joy leaving his girlfriend’s eyes every time he pushes the cat away. He hadn’t wanted to break her heart by telling her that he was allergic, but he couldn’t take anymore sad eyes.
He swallows his pride and does research in the library, and gets to work on a potion to help with his allergies. He even brings Weasley into the project when his first few batches didn't go right.
The first time he takes it Sebastian heads straight to the common room, finding his girlfriend and the kitten curled up on a sofa next to the fire.
He sits down next to them and like clockwork the little kitten stands up and walks over, settling itself in Sebastian’s lap.
“Oh!” She says and tries to shoo the cat away from him but Sebastian waves her off, petting the cat in his laugh.
The little guy loudly purrs and MC lets out the cutest little giggle that makes it all worth it.
Sebastian Sallow x F! Reader • 7th Year • Friends to Lovers
Rating: 18+
Over the summer before her seventh year MC has really come into her own. Figured out how to do her hair, dress to accentuate her favorite features, and finally looks like a full grown woman, instead of child. It seems like everyone has noticed - everyone except her crush best friend Sebastian Sallow.
She tries to deal with her deepening feelings, loosing control of her ancient magic and feeling like she’s not ready to leave Hogwarts.
I'm so annoying right now I just came up with an idea for a dope multi-chapter fic and I still have 4 chapters left of Little Bird so much else to write!!!!!!
hey, I really like your writing style! 💚 I've been playing HL for a while now, but I didn't want any spoilers, so I'm just now starting to see fanarts and read fics and headcanons, haha. 😅 anyways, your content is great!

Luckily I got and binged the game pretty quickly, I'm wayyy too into spoiling things for myself so I have to haha

Warnings: cursing, being overworked, exiling yourself from your friends.
Author’s Note: it has come to my attention while re-playing the game that I’ve been spelling Garreth wrong, in my defense autocorrect also thinks its “Gareth” so I feel like I should have a pass.
Little Bird Masterlist
I took my sweet time getting ready that morning, brushing my hair and teeth meticulously before putting on my robes and leaving for breakfast. I’d hoped that by dragging my feet the dining hall would be mostly empty and I could just swipe a few things before going to class.
Of course - I was not that lucky, Sebastian was standing outside of the Ravenclaw dormitories, leaning against the wall, his arms crossed in front of his chest.
When he sees me talk out the door he stands up straight, moving his bag filled with his school supplies to his other shoulder. “I was beginning to worry I’d missed you.”
“Running late.” I mumble, not completely over the fight we’d had the evening before.
Sebastian easily keeps up with me as we walk down the stairs, “I needed to apologize.” He says and I blush, “I was the one who set the Undercroft on fire.” I sigh, embarrassed by my outburst.
“I deserved it. I had been pushing you too hard and I shouldn’t have done that.” He says, grabbing my arm so we stop walking down the stairs and he can turn to face me. “I’m sorry, Bird.” He says and pulls me into his chest, wrapping his arms around me tightly. “I hate when we fight.”
Fighting seems to be the only thing I’m good at lately.
I want to give in, just squeeze him around the middle as tightly as I can and say it’s all water under the bridge, but his face last night, the pure fear in his features was burned into my brain. I’d never forget it.
“Sebastian.” I sigh and pull back. “I just. I’m running late, okay?”
“No.”
“What?”
“I said no, it’s not okay. It’s not going to be okay until I’ve made up with my best friend.” God he’s so fucking stubborn.
“We’ve made up, Seb. We’re fine. I just really am running late today.” I lie. “I told Professor Weasley I would meet her before lessons started today and I’m afraid won’t make it in time.”
“O-Oh.” He says, not really able to argue with that, even though I can tell he doesn’t fully believe it. I don’t often lie to him, and it’s making me feel a little sick.
“Maybe we can have lunch? Or do a dinner with the little beasties, yeah? Ominis hasn’t been bothered by the Nifflers in some time. I think we could go for a laugh.” He suggests, pulling at threads.
“Yeah.” I give a half hearted smile. “Maybe we’ll do dinner.” With that as my farewell I turn and start taking the stairs as quickly as I can without breaking out into a full run, and head to a floo flame.
To make myself into less of a liar I do go toward Professor Weasley’s classroom. Ever since Fig had died my fifth year, she’d become my confidant. She’d been a tremendous help my sixth year when I was stressed out about school, about trying to rebuild my friendships after everything.
I slip into her classroom and move to the back, knocking on the door. No one was waiting in the room so I assume she didn’t have a class this period.
She calls for me to come in and I crack open the door, walking into her pristine office. She was always so put together in my eyes, well for someone who was practically running the school without the title of headmaster. “Good Morning, Professor.” I smile lightly at her and she gestures to the little sitting area sitting by a window. “How nice to see you, how has your term been so far?”
I felt the immediate urge to lie, to tell her that everything was alright, that my year was going beautifully. I didn’t want her to think I was failing, but at this point I wasn’t sure what much of an option I had.
As soon as I opened my mouth the floodgates broke. I told her about me struggling in lessons, about not being able to contain my magic, or stop myself from fighting with my friends. My the end I had fully lost control of my emotions and I was just sobbing into the sleeve of my robes.
“Oh deary.” She sighs and comes around to sit on the same couch as me, putting her hand around my shoulders and rubbing my arm comfortably. “And on top of all of it.” I sob. “I’ve got bloody boy problems.”
She lets out a laugh that breaks me from my train of thought. “I know it seems silly, given the rest of it, but really these boys are driving me mad.” I giggle a little, wiping the tears off my face, taking deep breaths to calm down.
“I’m sorry to break it to you, but they never get better.” Professor Weasley smiles. “I didn’t think so.” I sigh.
“Does one of these mad boys happen to be my nephew?”
I blush, answering her question for her. “I can tell him to leave you alone if you wish.” She smiles kindly and I shake my head. “No! No- I think he’s actually quite... charming.” God was this awkward to talk about with his aunt. “But-”
“The Sallow boy?” She asks and my mouth drops open, I’m sure I look like a fish out of water. “How did you know that?!”
“As much as we try to act above it all the teachers do talk. We all thought you were...” She trails off and I shrug. “He doesn’t like me like that, and... he knows about my magic how I don’t always... act normally. It scares the Jesus out of him.” I sigh, “I can’t blame him.”
“I doubt that.” She sighs. I shake my head and stand up, looking at the time piece on her desk. I was already 5 minutes late for Charms.
I wipe my face once more. “Thank you... for speaking with me.” I sigh, I don’t know fi I felt any better, but it was nice to get off my chest.
The Professor waves her hand and a quill floats up, writing a note on a piece of parchment. “I don’t know how much I can help in the boy department, but let me know if you need help with any lessons, I’m always here. And I’m going to start looking for someone who might be able to help you with that ancient magic.” The note floats over to me and I grab it out of the air, just a pass for being late to class.
I nod, thanking her once more before heading off to Charms.
When I get to my class I slip the paper on the Professor’s desk and slip into my seat next to Ominis, Sebastian on his other side. I open my books and Sebastian leans over our friend. “You’ve been crying.”
I ignore him, now was neither the time nor place for this. “Bird talk to me.” He begs, leaning closer to Ominis. “Bird ple-”
“Sebastian I am trying to pay attention to this lesson can you PLEASE stop pretending I don’t exist.” Ominis groans, maybe a touch too loudly.
“Sallow, Gaunt. Am I boring you?” The Professor asks, the entire class turning to look at us three. I try to hide my red, puffy face from the prying eyes.
“No, sir.” The two answer at the same time.
“Five points from Slytherin, more if you continue to ignore my lesson.” He scoffs and turns back to instructing the class.
Warnings: so much fluff, suggestive language, references to a naked MC.
Sebastian reveals a secret talent to his muse.
Spring had finally sprung in Scotland, and after a long cold winter it felt like a true blessing to have a sunny day. Sebastian and I had decided to spend out Sunday by the lake, catching up on reading, looking out for the giant squid and just overall enjoying the nice weather.
We hadn’t been the only ones of course, the great lawn what flooded with students all trying to do the same, but we had lucked out with a nice spot by the lake.
We’d laid together on the grass for a while, looking up at the soft fluffing clouds which were few and far between. We talked about what life would be like after the end of term. Where we’d move together, what jobs we were going to do, how far we’d have to drag Ominis.
The plans ranged from moving to London, to going to Paris or hell- maybe even America if we got bored over here. Sebastian’s only prerequisite when you asked his opinion was that you were there with him. And he needed a job that paid enough to get you the ring you deserved.
Eventually I’d begged Sebastian to go sit in the shade, his skin turning pink with the sun exposure, and I didn’t want him to get a burn.
We’d fallen into a silence as we picked up our books and read, just enjoying each others company. I hadn’t even noticed that he’d put his own book down until I lifted my face toward the sky, eyes closed to soak in the sun. “Look down again please.” He said and my brow furrowed as I turned to face him.
My boyfriend was leaned over a large book of bound plain parchment, his hands covered in the dark charcoal he was drawing with. “What are you doing?” I giggle. I had no idea he drew, you think you know a man...
“Look at you book, love.” He smiles, a playful twinkle in his eye. I make a big show of dramatically looking back down at my book, but it was impossible to read. Now that I was aware of what he was doing, I cold feel his stare on my face, the charcoal running over the paper rhythmically was soothing.
Eventually he switches to an erasers stored in his pocket, and the sleeve of his robes were being used quite often too. I turn my head ever so slightly, desperate to get a look, but he catches me immediately.
“No no miss, back to your book no peaking.” He teases and I roll my eyes, turning to face the same page I’d been looking at for at least ten minutes.
The sounds of his drawing stop after a while, and he sighs. “Alright.”
He scoots from his spot until the tree in the shade and comes up behind me. He grabs me around the waist to pull me to his front in between his legs. His sketchbook ends up in my lap, and he rests his chin on my shoulder to look with me.
“Sebastian.” I sigh, looking over the page. This couldn’t possibility being a drawing of me, the woman on the page was far too beautiful. “This is wonderful. How long have you been drawing?”
He shrugs, like it was nothing. “Since I was young. It passes the time.”
“I’d say more than that.” I mutter and turn to kiss his cheek. “Can I keep this?” I ask and he nods. "Of course my love.” He kisses my shoulder blade and I start thrumming through the sketchbook.
How could he be so casual about this, these drawings were absolutely wonderful. Soft edges, beautiful highlights, if i drew like this I’d wear it pinned to the front of my robes. There were scenes from around the Hogwarts grounds, Feldcroft, even one of Ominis looking absolutely annoyed. “You captured his essence beautifully.” I joke and Seb laughs, moving back under the tree to grab his book that he had put down earlier.
While he did have some landscapes, and one or two other portraits the book was filled with... me. My profile, head on, sleeping, laughing, this book had me literally written all over it.
Sebastian makes himself comfortable leaning against the tree with his book, content to just let me flip through the pages.
“Sebastian?” I hum after flipping to the next page in his sketch book.
“Yes my love?”
“Where are my clothes in this one?”
He leans over to see which drawing I’m looking at, and the man has the nerve to smirk. “I took some artistic liberties with that one.”
