secfoam:
In the moonlight she made her way up the marble steps and drank the burning potion. A sword seemed to thrust itself through her body; and she fainted from the pain. At dawn the little mermaid woke up. She felt the pain again. When she looked down at her fishâs tail, she saw that it was gone. In its place were two beautiful white legs. She had no clothes on, so she wound her long hair around her body. When the mermaid looked up, she saw the prince standing before her.

drapctomaniia:
âYes, I truly canât imagine how wonderful it must be to live there. Magic is not so pure around here, after all.â
âDo you think they use their magic just for good? Iâve come to learn that where there is magic there is corruption.â
thethreemusketeers-ouat:
âYes, because Iâm sitting here now.â
âThen Iâll just have to find another seat.â
drapctomaniia:
âIt sounds insane, but the people there know of our lives. I wish I knew what kind of magic allows them that kind of sight.â
âIt must be amazing. A world with magic of that type must be filled with treasures and magnificent sights.âÂ
drapctomaniia:
âYes, itâs called Storybrooke. I heard there are movies, which are moving pictures, and legendary tales of us.â
âStories about us? But weâre just people. How can they have legends of us when we live in separate worlds?â
steleangel:
âno. Nice to meet you , I am Clary.â
â pleasure to meet you Clary, Iâm Odelette.â
drapctomaniia:
âI certainly hope we are not. Did you know I have friends whom live in another world? The Land Without Magic.â
âThereâs a land without magic? Iâve never met anyone from outside of the Enchanted Forest.â

â   pardon me but is this seat taken?    â
drapctomaniia:
âI see. I donât think weâre all that bad, but the conception is there. I have admittedly been fascinated by worlds that are not my own, as well.
âI donât think that people are as bad as the other mermaids think. Youâre all so interesting with your storybooks and tells of other worlds.â
Friend:
âWait,â Simon chewed his lip for a moment after she had written down her statement. He had the feeling she meant to go off alone and he didnât feel that was very safe.
âDo you have any provisions? Food, water? Itâs a good long ways to the castle⌠IâŚâ Simon licked his lips, glancing back to the path that led him home, âI could help you. I could travel with you, but weâll have to visit home to get the things we need. And⌠and tell Alonso.â He wouldnât be very happy but he didnât think Alonso would stop him from helping the girl
Odelette didnât understand the way travel worked on foot. In the ocean it was so easy to travel far distances in short periods of time. But apparently she was quite a bit wrong.
At his offer to accompany her on the trip, she gave an enthusiastic nod. With her limited knowledge of the area it would be so easy for her to get herself lost again. If he came along with her, she had no reason to doubt that she wouldnât make it to the castle safely.
drapctomaniia:
âHow peculiar. Where did your interest in humans come about, if not from your own people?â
âTreasures from the human world that Iâve found on the ocean floor. Father hates that I search for relics from shipwrecks.â
drapctomaniia:
âWe find fascination in that which we do not understand. It must be a common trait, even in mermaids.â
âNot all of us are as interested in humans as I am. In fact for a mermaid to love the human world is frowned upon in my kingdom.â
