hello !!!!! so i’m gonna apologize for my absence - i’ve been v sick and also just been struggling to like…be content w/ this blog so every time i come on here i’m like teehee…..anxiety.

but i decided i am going to make this blog a multi-muse to make it easier for me to handle my blogs !! so i’ll be adding my caspar + a couple other muses (probs one or two from fates since that’s the only other fe game i’ve ever played lol + a couple others from 3h??) and so hopefully i’ll get that all figured out soon !!!

    chores  are,  in  caspar’s  opinion,  one  of  the  worst  things  to  exist.  it’s  just  a  total,  complete  waste  of  time.  and  today  he’s  stuck  here,  sharpening  weapons  alongside  …  felix.  he  doesn’t  hate  felix  or  anything;  in  a  way,  he  maybe - kinda - sorta  admires  him,  but  he’s  so.  soooo.  prickly ?  would  that  be  the  right  word ?

    he  looks  aside  at  felix,  just  a  quick  little  glance  out  the  corner  of  his  eyes.  stills  his  hands  so  he  doesn’t  acidentally  sharpen  his  own  fingers  (   ouch   ),  opens  his  mouth  to  say  something  (   this  sure  is  boring,  huh ?  training  would  be  so  much  better.  hey,  did  you  hear  what  they’re  serving  for  lunch  tomorrow ?   ),  but.  all  of  those  words  die  off  before  they  see  the  light  of  day,  and  caspar  merely  returns  to  sharpening  the  sword  in  his  hands.

    but,  okay,  no.  silence  sucks.  

    last  weapon  finished,  caspar  sets  it  aside  and  reaches  for  one  that  felix  still  has  left.  he  doesn’t  even  bother  asking  first;  just  snatches  it  from  the  nearly - finished  pile  and  sets  to  work.  there’s  some  considerable  force  in  the  way  he  sharpens  it;  the  screech  is  harsher  than  it  perhaps  should  be,  but  he  just  wants  out.  subtlety  has  never  been  one  of  caspar’s  strong  suits.

    …it  feels  like  there’s  eyes  on  him.  the  hair  on  the  back  of  his  neck  stands  up.  caspar  turns,  hands  stilling  again,  to  look  back  at  felix.  “    what ?  if  i  help  you  out,  we’re  both  gonna  get  out  of  here  quicker !  i  dunno  about  you,  but  i  am  not  trying  to  miss  dinner.    ”

         Typical. As much as Sylvain wants to defend himself, he can’t fight back the grin that takes to his face, unable to hide the amusement that came so naturally to him at Caspar’s accusation. Every story had two sides, and nobody was ever interested in his own.

        “And you came to scold me?”

        “Well, let me have it then ― it’s not like I haven’t heard it all before.”

    “    uh---  i  mean,  scolding  isn’t  really  my  thing...  i’m  more  of  a  punchy  kind  of  guy.    ”  and  he’s  not  stupid;  he  knows  of  sylvain’s  reputation.  he  knows  of  his  own,  too;  he  runs  his  mouth  too  much  and  gets  into  fights  all  the  time  (   like  he’s  attempting  to  do  right  now,  sort  of   ).  caspar  huffs  out  a  sigh,  scraping  a  foot  against  the  ground.  “     ...why’d  you  do  it ?    ”  he  asks.  it  tumbles  out  before  he  can  stop  himself,  but,  well,  he’s  committing  to  it.
