                  ——  He still isn’t really following, if he’s being honest. But then again, when is he ever honest? Carding a hand through his hair, Kano simply begins shaking his head. And he never really stops, either. None of this matters right now- or, rather, it does quite a lot- considering his priority is to bandage up that self-inflicted bite before things get worse. Kneeling down next to his sibling yet again, he peers up at him in concern for only a second, before giving him a vaguely reassuring smile.

                                   “Okay, okay. You’re fine, Kousuke. It’s okay if you’re not fine, too, but just for right now let’s say you are. Let me see your hand.” And like a trainer waiting for his dogs paw, he holds out his own hand, only to grow impatient and gently take the others arm either way. "So you can be dumb sometimes, too? You better live to see twenty then, gramps. Can’t leave those gray hairs waiting, right?" The deceiver isn’t really paying attention to what he’s saying, instead going through the motions without any thought.

---- "I'm alright, Kano."

[ He won't resist the careful hands bandaging him, but he certainly doesn't want to worry his siblings any more than he has; despite the continuing flutter of panic building in his throat, he smiles. 

In addition to the insipid feeling of unease is the feeling of guilt, of regret for worrying his siblings the way that he did. He was scared. Terrified, even. His imagination was certainly good but not twisted enough to imagine the mental images he'd seen, nor violent enough to justify how frighteningly detailed they'd been; he'd only ever seen scenes of death along those lines once before. ]

"Haah, I'm not really sure what came over me. I'm sure it's passed, though. Sorry, Shuuya."

           I’m fine.. I’ll feel a lot better if you told me what’s wrong though?

---- "I thought...." [ He begins, but ultimately cuts off his words to flop his head into the crook of her shoulder. ]

                                                                "It's nothing. I'm fine, now!"

---- [ Kido isn't the best at comforting, but a slap to the cheek sure is enough to wake him out of whatever frightened state he'd been in. He can't even explain why he'd been so afraid-- and if anything, a part of him thought he'd accidentally glimpsed into someone's mind that harboured less than pristine intentions. It'd certainly seemed that way-- (He'd never figure out that it'd been a glimpse into one of Marry's thoughts.)

His hand, on the... other hand, isn't particularly well. Clapping a hand over the bitten flesh, he dismisses his adoptive siblings. ]

"I'm alright!" [ He croaks. ] "I'm alright. Stop worring. Sorry."

         S-Seto are you okay? Shhh…

---- "Don't worry about me, Marry. Are... are you alright?"

---- "N-nothing is going to happen to them! I won't let anything happen."

                  ——  “What are you talking about? Seto, I’m fine, I swear!… Are you crying?”

---- "No, Kano. I'm just... I'm getting a bad feeling about... something. Can you stay with me? Please?"

---- [ He just needs a moment. ]

Marry is also in danger. //If your still accepting!

                  ——  “I’m right here and I can hear you just fine, I swear. You’re going to burn a hole in the floor at the rate you’re running around and I’m not going to be the one to explain that to Kido.”

---- "I-I thought...! I-is.. Are you safe!? You need to get somewhere safe!"

"Is something wrong?"

---- "A-are you safe!? I have this terrible feeling that you're in danger..."

"What? What’s with all the yelling Seto-Kun~? Didn’t something happen?~" Or maybe he got into something he shouldn’t have?
