Hey Vivzie, I know you’ve probably never heard from me before, but. There are some things I feel need to be said, but first, I want to establish a couple things.
I refuse to lie to anyone about anything. I don’t care if they are friends, family, random strangers on the street. I see only harm in hiding the truth, as it can cause terrible problems to fester.
With that in mind, I feel this needs to be said. It is disgusting that people have been treating you like crap over such frivolous bullshit. You have every right to be mad over that, particularly with your given background. Its not being dramatic, its not being a petulant child or whatever other thing. In my eyes, any anger over treatment you personally are receiving over it is justified.
Yet, so far as I can tell, you keep yourself in check and under control. Despite the fact that these people are constantly hounding you. Despite the fact that most of them likely don’t know the first thing about you, despite the fact, as you yourself pointed out, this is the internet. A place where it is so easy to let things get away from you, you haven’t. You’ve maintained who you are, and that’s no easy feat.
You also made a offhand comment about your art not being that great. I apologize, but I am not going to agree with you there. Your art is amazing, perfect no, but there is no such thing as perfect art. You do amazing stuff that quite frankly blows my mind. And the animations you do from time to time? Just…Wow. So please, PLEASE don’t sell yourself short like that.
In terms of role models, you honestly are a pretty damn decent one. Whether you believe so or not. You have stayed true to your beliefs even though many people have tried to change your mind. You’ve been firm but kind with those that have tried to walk over you, even though quite frankly they don’t deserve that kindness. You’ve respected people of points of views I myself know couldn’t tolerate and come out learning more informed for each experience. I am sorry, but I honestly don’t understand how you couldn’t be a good role model? Is it because you’re not perfect? Well…You are human? Its kinda expected with the package, and quite frankly would make you a poor role-model if you were just some perfect celestial being that can have no mistakes and therefore nothing to learn from.
