I saw this post and fell in love with it. Made a vow to draw it with as many OCâs as I could! And I started out thinking they were all gonna be sketches, but then I had to test out my new laptop by doing something DIGITAL!
IMAGE WAS TRACED. It was just for practice and fun and to get myself into drawing again.Â
So hereâs my Splatoon Agent OCâs and Octoling OCâs!! I really love how these all came out. And hey, one of themâs a new OC! (More info on her and other comments under the cut)
C1 on this drawing meme= http://soupery.tumblr.com/post/155348704959/a-softer-sequel-to-this-please-dont-repost I did a few of them but this is the only one that came out really nice. My friend and I have been shipping OC's btw. (Splatoon OC's are pretty open to multiship so I don't mind) Mimi belongs to @octolingrogues (she just started this rp blog up recently! give her some love!)

Hey guys, I know Iâve been away for a while (Iâm currently in Japan on a study abroad trip so Iâve stayed off of tumblr for the most part)
but I wanted to rank about something⊠if youâd let meâŠ
Iâm sort of upset that Iâve had to put my fanfic on hold cuz of this trip, especially since Iâve only uploaded a chapter (not saying Iâm not enjoying this trip- Iâm very grateful and Iâm having lots of fun) but anyway, I just kind of feel bad about the hiatus.
What makes it worse is Splatfest. I was busy this year with some of the toughest classes Iâve had my whole college career, and now Iâm on hiatus because of the trip⊠therefore I havenât participated in many of the splatfests this year and whatâs worse is I missed THE VERY LAST ONE.
I know everyone says âitâs okay, maybe itâs proof that theyâll make splatoon 2! Maybe theyâll release it on a new console!â but hereâs the thing: I have been saving up for a wiiu for a LONG time and I finally got it last Christmas. And I only really play splatoon so I technically paid ABOUT 300 DOLLARS ON A SINGLE GAME. Even though I didnât have a proper job, I didnât make a lot of money and had to work hard to get it! I wanted it that much!! I wanted to be involved in the game and in the fandom!
Long story short⊠Iâm upset because it feels like this fandom and this game is coming to a close and Iâm just getting started. And I feel like I didnât get to really be as involved in the fandom as I wanted to be because of school and life stuff that is mostly out of my control.
Iâm sorry Iâm so horrible at this⊠I just needed to put my education and career first⊠is that so bad? Why do I feel like Iâm being punished for this??
The splatfests are over, but theres a couple posts going around where a lot of us are stating we wont leave. The fandom isnt coming to an end.
Your education and future is by far the most important thing but dont worry, were not going anywhere.Â
enjoy the rest of your stay in japan. Weâll still be here when you get back.Â
Also, Judd now distributes the Snails, meaning we no longer need to wait for a Splatfest to get some!
Yes, you do get fewer Snails for the same number of matches, but hey, at least thereâs no time limit or a need to grind battles! You can get âem whenever you like! So there is that.

Sorry I havenât been on recently, or have made the second chapter yet. Iâve been getting ready for a big trip and I leave tomorrow. So... I might be on very little, if at all for the next month. Sorry guys :/
The Inkling nicknamed "Indigo", after the natural color of her tentacle hair, stared up at the digital sign in front of her. These were the names of the players she was about to be teamed up with, and boy, did that discourage her.
It was the very last match of the day, and she couldnât help but feel that the odds of this group being the one were incredibly low. She had been participating in Ranked Battles all day, since the moment the lobby opened its doors in the morning. She played all three modes, traipsed several stages, and had been partnered with countless team members... But in all that time, she still hadnât found the right team.
She had started the day determined, but by now she was absolutely exhausted, both physically and mentally, but she needed every battle she could possibly be in to test out new teammates. Ever since the Great Zapfish, Inkopolisâ power source, disappeared from its place curled around Inkopolis Tower, a limit was placed on the amount of Turf War matches and Ranked Battles that could be held per day. So as much as she wanted to take a break that was longer than a few minutes, she had to keep pushing herself. Indigo slumped down in one of the waiting room couches, the Splattershot Pro in her hand halfway over the edge, and stared up at the ceiling. This is hopeless.
A large pair of Noise Cancelers hung around the Inklingâs neck. She had been wearing headphones a lot lately, so it felt weird not to wear something over her ears during battle. She was also wearing her favorite shirt, the zebra-print Herbivore Tee, and Cherry Kicks, revealing her preference for stealth in battle. She didnât mind the speed reductions for her swimming and Super Jump if it meant she could sneak up on others and never have to worry about jumping into an ambush.
Itâs not like I havenât won any matches, but even then I still didnât feel right with those teams. Something was missing, but I canât quite figure out what that is...Â
Indigo would have kept dwelling on her situation had a muffled cough not broken her out of her thoughts, alerting her that someone else was standing before her in the room. Huh, I didnât even hear the door open... And when she focused her attention on the new arrival, she couldnât help but jolt at the strange sight: An imposing Gas Mask looking off to the side, and a Heavy Splatling Deco carried with ease. I wonder which one of the players this is... possible the one with the squid emoticon for a nickname? Seeing the newcomerâs green tentacle hair tied in a limp ponytail, Indigo wanted to assume the new arrival was a guy; ponytails were currently the popular style among male Inklings, while female Inklings like herself preferred to have their hair down. However, the baggy Green Zip Hoodie covered any possible clues the Inklingâs body could give away, and basing a guess from their hairstyle alone seemed kind of ridiculous to her.
"Uhh... Nice to meet you. " She said, trying her hardest to smile. âIâm Indigo.â
The masked Inkling seemed to look in her direction, and she immediately wished she could see their face; it almost made her uncomfortable not knowing what expression they held. And then they looked away, staying completely silent. Â
Indigo felt insulted by this aloof gesture, and nearly turned away from the newcomer in a huff until she saw their hand outstretched towards her.
"Oh, um... Okay.â Indigo said awkwardly, and shook their hand. She noticed how the light brown color to their skin contrasted with her much darker shade.
It was a kind gesture but, their actions were a bit strange.
Once the Gas Mask Inkling settled in on the couch opposite to Indigo, and set their Splatling on the floor in front of them, the double doors to their small meeting room swung open, and the loud noise they made as they slammed the walls announced a new presence to the two squids in the room. A boy with slicked-back, blue hair in a low ponytail and light skin waltzed in, sporting a button-down Shirt and Tie and a pair of expensive 18K Aviators. He was carrying a large Splat Roller over his shoulder, and he practically oozed confidence.
Indigo didn't even have to ask to figure out which of the players on the list he was. She used incredible effort to refrain from rolling her eyes at his obnoxious demeanor.
The Inkling in aviators let himself fall back into the same couch as Gas Mask, the latter seeming to flinch at the landing. "Sup, playas?? swag roller, here!â He boomed to the other two, a huge grin on his face. Indigo could barely hold back her hand from slapping her face. The other Inkling remained silent.
Indigo had a bad feeling this was going be a very long match. Or worse, a very short one.
âYou donât get it? Itâs cuz youâre âplayers!â I just thought of it.â The Roller user rambled on. When there was still no response, he sighed. âYou guys are cold...â
There was a sound down the hallway that caught Indigoâs attention.
The doors swung open again, but this time not quite as loudly. A tanned, orange-inked female stumbled into the room clumsily, as if she had tripped on the doors.
âSorry, am I late?â The girl asked, sounding short on breath. She held on tight to a Splat Charger, pressing it up against her sky blue, Tentatek-logoed shirt.
âNo,â Indigo replied, glancing up at the clock sitting above the doors. It was counting down, but there was time to talk. âWe still have time to discuss strategy, if you want.â Usually Indigo would be all for it, but she was tired. She wondered if the other team members could hear it in her voice.
âGood!â She beamed, and sat down next to Indigo while adjusting the red Octoglasses on her head. âIâm Sierra, by the way; itâs nice to meet you all. Um, have you guys thought of any strategies yet? I hope I didnât miss too much...â She sounded guilty.
âI think we all just got here, girl. Chill...â The Roller reassured.
Indigo sighed, and then straightened up to look at the group. âFine, letâs just keep this simple.â She was surprised to see all three of them look at her attentively; normally, planning out strategies with Inklings she just met was a battle in itself. She cleared her throat.
âOne of us has to take the Rainmaker, and the rest of us can be support or backup. Things never go well when teammates are all fighting over whoâs being the leader. I would volunteer, but my gear is a little better for support.â
âIâll take the Rainmaker!â Boasted the Roller. âIâm pretty fast, so Iâll rush right in and get there first!â He leaned back into the couch, hands resting behind his head, and put his feet up on the small, glass coffee table in the middle of the room.
Considering his behavior so far, Indigo was a bit hesitant to let him take over. However, she hadnât seen any of them in battle yet, and thus hadnât seen how much skill (or lack of skill) they possessed. There was no way of knowing now who should be trusted with it, so it was a chance she was going to have to take. âJust be careful; if our opponent gets there first, we-â
âCould get splatted by the shield. Got it.â
âWait a second!â Sierra spoke up. âWhich maps are we playing anyway? I rushed in to the lobby so quickly to get into a waiting room I didnât have time to do recon...â
Indigo couldnât help but feel a little disappointed by the Chargerâs impulsive actions, but in any case it was still a good idea to look over the maps as a team.
âGet your feet off the table.â Indigo demanded the Roller, while quickly sitting up to hover over the small table. He complied, and joined the rest of them in a huddle. Indigo quickly tapped on the glass. A digital menu came up, and she selected Flounder Heights, causing a birdâs eye-view of the map to cover most of the table.
Sierra tapped certain points on the map, circles appearing around each spot. âThese are usually good spots to snipe from, but it depends on where you guys are, too.â
Indigo made routes by drawing lines on the map with her finger.
âHere is the most direct way,â She pointed to one line. âThereâre different ways of approach depending on your weapon, but ultimately they all end up going the same way, unless we take this route here,â She made a new line that diverged from the others by going up a wall rather than the ramp leading into the central square of the base. âIf it ends up being back and forth for a while, we could catch them off-guard by using an unexpected path.â
âAnd Walleye?â The Roller spoke up.
Indigo switched the map to Walleye Warehouse, and repeated the process.
âThis map is a lot more direct, but weâll have to watch out for this last bit here.â She pointed to a light gray patch, representing un-inkable turf, right next to the goal point within the enemy base, and then looked up to Gas Mask. âMe and you would need to go ahead on the ramp and clear the area, while Sierra watches our back, so ârollerâ can run in without getting splatted.â
She looked around, noting the silence. They all seemed to be paying attention, but...
âDo you understand?â She tried to seem like she was asking everyone, but she focused on the Gas Mask squid, who was still unreadable. The Inkling in question nodded, and then traced their own route on the map: an alternative way to getting the Rainmaker to the base that avoided the dreaded ramp.
âOh, wow. I didnât think of that...â Indigo admitted, giving them a smile. âIs that the route youâll be taking?â There was a brief pause, and she wondered if she was going to get any response at all.
â... Iâll follow you.â They answered in a muffled voice that still masked their identity.
Indigo nodded, then looked over her other team members, a bit of confidence welling up inside. This was the first time she had a team that listened so well.
Shortly afterwards, a bell rang, signaling that the match was about to start.
âWell, thatâs all the time we have.â Indigo concluded. âGood luck, team.â Letâs just hope this match goes as well as we planned... She stood up from the couch, Splattershot Pro gripped tightly, and walked out the single door leading to the shuttle. The others grabbed their own weapon and quickly followed behind. She could hear Sierra saying sheâll do her best and the Roller trying to psych the team up, and when she turned her head to glance back at Gas Mask, they gave a firm nod. Facing forward, Indigo tried to put on her game face, but instead couldnât stop smiling; she wondered if maybe their enthusiasm was contagious. Stepping onto the shuttle, she shifted her Noise Cancelers to her ears.
Here goes nothing.

Special thanks for my friend Rose for being my (very helpful) editor! Wish you were on tumblr so I could properly credit you!
Sorry I was gone for a little while, things are getting a little crazy since Iâm getting ready for my month-long trip. But I know there were some rpâs I was going to reply to that I just kind of dropped offed on. Sorry about that.
I finished the first chapter of my fanfic a few days ago! I should of posted it right away, but I was delaying myself because I wanted to make a cover page. But Iâm in a bit of a block right now and itâs just a messy sketch, but Iâm gonna upload it anyway.
This first chapter is about 3 pages. I hope to get the second chapter written very soon!!
âIâve been patrolling the underground for any suspicious activity⊠as well as training some new recruits. But I was curious to know what other agents such as yourself were up toâ
"Really? Did the Captain assign multiple Agent threes? Or is there an imposter?" She seemed on edge. She changed the subject.
"You're taking a trip, then? I hope I'm not delaying you too much." She bowed her head slightly. "It may not be my place to ask, but why travel ask the way out there? Did something happen?"
"I've been patrolling the underground for any suspicious activity... as well as training some new recruits. But I was curious to know what other agents such as yourself were up to"
Sierra carefully walked up to a a confident-looking inkling in the plaza, near where the turf wars were held. She held on tight to her new charger, and smiled brightly. Sierra asked Jacar, "I'm new here. Um, would you mind showing me around?"
Jacar noticed the inkling girl and and removed his octoglasses and hung them on his collar.
âSure thing. As you can see, this is the lobby.â
âYep! Itâs where I got my gear! I use the aerospray rg as my weapon, but I change weapons a lot from shooters to sloshers, but I use the aerospray the most.â
Sierra jumped hearing this. âY-your girlfriend?! Youâre dating one of the squid sisters??â She put her hand on her heart to check if her heart was still beating, since it didnât feel like it.
Sierraâs face lit up hearing this. âThat⊠thatâs so cool!! Ah, Iâm sorry, I asked you for help âcause I thought you were a cool-looking stranger, but I didnât know you were a celebrity!â
âAgency?â Maybe he meant some sort of acting or modeling agency? The squid sisters did appear on TV a lot⊠But what was with the weird reaction?Â
She crooked her head to the side a bit, curious. She waited for some kind of response.
Jacar sighed, âalright, Iâll explain but you have to keep this a secret. Iâm known as agent 0, while Callie and Marie, are agents 1 & 2. Iâm trusting you will keep this secret.â
She gasped loudly, wide-eyes, then cupped her hands over her mouth. She had to really try to refrain from bouncing up and down. She uncovered her mouth, still looking very excited. âI didnât even know there WAS an Agent 0! And 1 and 2 are-â
She cut herself off, realizing she was still talking a bit loudly for such private matters, and others could probably hear. She thought about her new comrades, and in particular 3âČs serious demeanor.Â
Sierra straightened up her posture, and coughed awkwardly. âUm, well, Nice to meet you. I-Iâm a new recruit.â She said, whispering. She found herself getting a little nervous as she held out her hand for a handshake. âStarting yesterday, Iâm⊠Agent 4.â
Jacar smiled, âah! A new recruit. Well welcome to the agency, just so you know, I wasnât around during the whole octovio incident, I was on a mission outside the borders, I was informed, and by the time I was back, the great zapfish was back in itâs place due to the new agent 3.â
He then patted her shoulder, âyouâve still got lots to learn, but youâll be fine. I have my own unit that I command, itâs for, older and more hardcore agents. The vengeful unit. And weâre currently in a war with these âassassinsâ⊠They ruined my life and got me here. But thatâs besides the point. Next Iâll introduce you to spyke!â
âWow, sounds intense!â She exclaimed, feeling simultaneously impressed and a bit afraid of his talk of wars and assassins. âI hope I wonât be working with anything that dangerousâŠâ
She followed him to their next spot. âThank you for doing this, by the way. Iâve been to inkopolis a few times now actually, but⊠itâs nice to have a proper tour and know where everything is.â
âAnytime! And you donât have to worry about getting involved. The only bad thing about the assassins, is that they messed with the wrong squid and his family, Iâll explain my story to you one day but Iâll sum up what they did, they killed my parents and kidnapped my siblings, I got my brothers back, but I still need to find my twin sister, immuniqe. And they are also targeting me and my best friends. They call me âalpha targetâ one of my friends, 'bravo targetâ and the other 'Charlie targetâ, using the military alphabet.â
Jacar sighs, âtheyâre like a military, very tough, and they know how to defend themselves and theyâre even tough to interrogate sometimes, in a branch of the hq we have several of them held prisoner.â
Spyke sees Jacar along with Sierra, âoi Jacar. Howâs my fresh customer doinâ?â
âDoing well, Iâve brought a friend, Iâm showing her around town. Her nameâs Sierra.â
"I'm sorry to hear that..." she told him, sounding crushed. "I don't even know what I would do if something happened to my siblings..."
She hoped she wouldn't get in any trouble just hanging out with Agent 0 like this. She certainly wasn't trained to deal with anyone like that yet... But she did enjoy his company nonetheless.
"Oh, um. Nice to meet you!" Sierra said to Spyke, bowing slightly.
Sierra carefully walked up to a a confident-looking inkling in the plaza, near where the turf wars were held. She held on tight to her new charger, and smiled brightly. Sierra asked Jacar, "I'm new here. Um, would you mind showing me around?"

Heads up squiddos Iâll be tagging all my rps as âlong postâ after a couple of replies so if youâre annoyed at the repetition you can go ahead and tumblr savior that lol.
