it was the way he looked at you, the way he treated you differently than everybody else. he was a bit colder towards others but when it came to you, he couldn’t help himself, he couldn’t be cold to you. you were the only thing that made him feel warm on the inside. every moment you spent with him made you feel amazing, you couldn’t help but feel as though you were on cloud nine.
it sounded like it was a dream, but honestly, it was something you had been dreaming of for the longest time.

“yes, forever.” you bit your bottom lip lightly as you looked up at him. this statement was odd because he was infinite, you were not. his lips were on yours, but they were so soft and so gentle. it was crazy to say, but you had damon salvatore wrapped around your finger.
“i love you damon” you pulled away, your voice so quiet it was almost inaudible. a smile lingered on your face from the kiss.
“and i love you, y/n. i would do anything for you.” he kissed your forehead as he held you closer to himself.
