“Darling, I need your help. I can’t seem to die without you”
— Panfilo, The Decameron
That is one of the most romantic and heartbreaking lines I’ve ever heard
Girls, get you a husband like Panfilo. If he doesn't kiss your widdle forehead and call you "my darling" every time you do something weird and slightly off-putting then he ain't it.
its me im girls
I love you dog symbolism. I love you fruit symbolism. I love you insect symbolism. I love you flower symbolism. I love you motifs. I love you poetry.

I think it should be illegal to ask someone if they write fanfiction on the first date because then they either have to lie or admit to writing fanfiction. and that’s a dilemma even Kant would struggle with
ya know how some fandoms have like fanfic/fanart competitions
we, as in the dps fandom, should have those too
except not only do u have to make a fanwork - you have to fight to the death
just to put the dead in dead poets society
I'm in a Jay Gatsby kind of situation. Where I can't understand the difference between be a hopeless romantic or have obsessive feelings for someone
"Do not feel sorry for me. I do not know anything else. I've always been this. An exhibit instead of a person."
"You are a person to me."
a relationship should be 50/50 he digs up her grave to look at her and she haunts him at night
I love gratuitous acts of love and stupidity and obsession. Like, Mary Shelley losing her virginity to her man on her mother's grave in a churchyard and then keeping his preserved heart after her died? Metal. Heathcliff digging up Catherine's grave and forcing her to haunt him since he refuses to live without her? Iconic. Romeo and Juliet’s double suicide after three days of burning teenage passion? Felt.
