Decided to create a pinned post, since a lot of the blogs I follow do that and it seems like a good idea.

I'm a 30-something trans dude with an omo kink (the last part of that should be obvious from the everything about this blog). I'm mostly gay, so I lean towards male omo, but I'm also into some stuff with people of other genders. I'm on this blog sporadically, trying to be more consistent.

I liveblog holds on here every now and then, and I'm always down for interaction, challenges, encouragement, etc. You can send me an ask with any of that even if I'm not actively doing a hold... and it might even give me the inspiration to start one. Holding is more fun and exciting with an audience.

a few weeks ago I got hospitalized for dehydration (ironic, I now) and ended up on IV fluids... and when I had to piss, I couldn't get my body to use the bedpan. it just refused.

I told the nurse and asked for a catheter, but she had to get the go-ahead from a doctor, and it took over an hour for that to happen. she had to ultrasound my bladder to prove that I needed to piss.

it had been so long that I had over 800mL in there. Getting catheterized felt amazing. that said... I wasn't squirming, didn't feel close to wetting myself. it was uncomfortable, but I wasn't really desperate. I'm looking forward to finding out how damn full my bladder has to be before I am truly, utterly, almost uncontrollably desperate

plumber update: coming between 12 and 2 (eastern time) and they're going to have to shut off water for the whole building.

my roommate has work today so it's an excellent time for a hold. I want a full and getting fuller bladder while the plumber's here, but probably full desperation after they leave so I don't risk an accident while they're here. any suggestions?

the toilet in my apartment has been leaking and my landlord came by last night to see if he could fix it. he was working on it for a couple of hours so I had to wait a while to piss. I didn't get that desperate, but I was pretty anxious for him to finish up so I could go.

he wasn't able to fix the problem so he's going to call a plumber to come by today... so I'm thinking about drinking more liquids, maybe some coffee, so I can do a hold where the toilet really isn't an option.

How about you hold until a set time? (Or if your not doing that type of hold, its fine.)

I'm so bad at knowing how long it will take that I'm not good at set times/timers, buuuut if you have other challenges or just want to try to make me more desperate with teasing and talking about desperation and pissing... those always make a hold more intense (and thus more fun)

not sure how long my bladder would take it, but it fucks up my back so I had to turn over :/

How long do you think you will last?

it usually takes me a long-ass time to get to bursting, but the pressure in my bladder is definitely starting to increase, so I hope I can hit a real 'holy shit now now now' run to the bathroom level within an hour or so.

(it'd be even better if it can suddenly hit me earlier, I fucking love when it jumps from feeling manageable to utter desperation when I'm not expecting it)

fuck I'm really bad at those kinds of scales but I am definitely past the point where I can forget about it at all. not squirming or crossing my legs or anything, but I'm very aware I'm holding it
