As I sit here in traffic, I wonder that if something bad were to happen, if you would actually care. Would you come to visit? But that wouldn't make you love me again and I would be heartbroken and let down all over again.
I need to start writing more on here. Or keep a journal. Either way, only one person really comes to mind when I feel like writing and the thing is, they will never see this.
After the Battle of Shiloh in 1862, many Civil War soldiers’ lives were saved by a phenomenon called ‘Angel’s Glow.’ The soldiers, who lay in the mud for two rainy days, had wounds that began to glow in the dark and heal unusually fast. In 2001, 2 teens won an international science fair by discovering the soldiers had been so cold that their bodies created the perfect conditions for growing a bioluminescent bacteria, which ultimately destroyed the bad bacteria that could’ve killed them. In 1961, 152 black cats descended on a studio in Hollywood to audition for a new version of Edgar Allan Poe’s scary classic, “The Black Cat.” Although LIFE only published one image in the Dec. 15, 1961 edition, staff photographer Ralph Crane shot over 300 frames. This gem is just one of those unpublished outtakes. (Ralph Crane—The LIFE Picture Collection/Getty Images) #BlackCats #catsofinstagram #FridayThe13th

May your coming year be filled with magic and dreams and good madness. I hope you read some fine books and kiss someone who thinks you’re wonderful, and don’t forget to make some art – write or draw or build or sing or live as only you can. And I hope, somewhere in the next year, you surprise yourself.
Neil Gaiman (via wordsnquotes)
Someone who has been emotionally abused will:
• Constantly apologize • Hide their feelings in fear of upsetting you • Break down during small disagreements thinking it will explode • Need a lot of reassurance Please be patient, we are trying.
Who am I and what am I even doing? I think I'm just a fuck up.
I have never wanted to die more than I have right now.
It's really weird crying in the shower.
