BACKGROUND

Simon is Noah’s older brother. In their twenties, Noah took the fall for Simon after he caused a fatal DUI crash and was convicted of vehicular manslaughter. Six months before Noah’s release from prison, Simon disappeared without warning, cutting off contact and leaving behind his girlfriend and child. Simon has always been the more reckless of the two—the family’s constant troublemaker—while Noah became the one who cleaned up after him, repeatedly bailing him out of consequences. Now, after years apart, Simon’s return brings unresolved tension and a long history of loyalty, resentment, and sacrifice to the surface, setting the stage for inevitable conflict between the brothers. After Simon disappeared shortly before Noah’s release from prison, Noah stepped in to support her and help raise the child, and the three of them have since formed a close, tightly bonded family unit. Noah currently lives with Sara and her son in a small home in Southpoint, where their lives are closely intertwined.
