"I wish I could say I was surprised." Shinon mumbled from the branch he was sitting, watching the girl practise under him. "Wrong stance" He muttered and rolled his eyes.
Somebody Screwed Up Starters
“Excuuuse me?”
On her own, Severa liked to train, practicing the use of other weapons—just in case. She was a sword wielder, and usually hated training, and preferred not too. But it’s better than looking like a fool if she were to ever need to use another type on the battlefield. Nobody had ever witnessed any of these little training sessions, at least not until today. An unfamiliar voice pierced the air, probably not meant for her to hear, and Severa turned towards the direction she pinpointed it from.
Sadly, they were likely right, as she practiced using a weapon she had no experience in. “And you can get the stance perfect?”
Shinon rolled his eyes, she had obviously spotted him. He let out a sigh and jumped down from the branch, elegantly landing on his feet. “Most likely” He shrugged, leaning against the trunk of the tree. He had years of experience when it came to weapons. He preferred the bow of course, but if necessary he had knowledge wielding both swords and spears. The lesser thanks to Gatrie. “But don’t mind me. I won’t stay for long”
She casted a scowl. It should be expected for a not-so kind welcome on either side. This person seemed pretty proud of himself and his battling ability—which caused some semi-envy. “Hmpf—who’re you, anyway? I don’t the Shepherds have had any new recruits lately.”
