I didn’t know Mr. T pityed fool’s that weren’t woke, but that’s awesome. #respect
“I think about my father being called ‘boy’, my uncle being called ‘boy’, my brother, coming back from Vietnam and being called ‘boy’. So I questioned myself: “What does a black man have to do before he’s given the respect as a man?” So when I was 18 years old, when I was old enough to fight and die for my country, old enough to drink, old enough to vote, I said I was old enough to be called a man. I self-ordained myself Mr. T so the first word out of everybody’s mouth is “Mr.” That’s a sign of respect that my father didn’t get, that my brother didn’t get, that my mother didn’t get.“

How to Fight Perfectionism
1. Delete “ought”, “must” and “should” from your vocabulary.
2. Get rid of all unrealistic goals, and replace them with realistic, achievable goals.
3. Accept and love yourself unconditionally.
4. Recognize that NOBODY is perfect – despite what the media, or other people, say.
5. Love your quirks and value your uniqueness.
6. See mistakes as lessons on the road to success.
7. Notice all the positives, and small accomplishments.
8. Enjoy, and be thankful for, the good things in your life.

Breaking eye contact makes you a better conversationalist. Studies show people who are forced to maintain eye contact take longer to recall words than those who are allowed to take a break from the mental stimulation of staring into someone else’s eyes. Though maintaining eye contact is important for building emotional connections, looking away is key for having focused and productive conversations. Source Source 2
I’m going to check out a wedding venue I like on Saturday. I’m doing everything super early but I really don’t want to be stressed out of my mind near the date.
My dress is coming in next week when I thought it would take months.
Now where am I going to put it? It’s huge!
I’d miss a thousand sunsets just to look at your eyes.
