Our little cat Iffy (Iphigenia : ) was rescued her from a feral colony when she was about 6 months old. Now she is almost 2! Unfortunately, she has a life-threatening condition called chylothorax. It makes lymph fluid build up in her chest cavity, and would eventually cause her to suffocate....

I need to send this picture to my friends and family back in Maine. they don't all know where Pittsburgh is! My theory is that Mainers consider everything to be near the coast. I think many of them picture me in Philadelphia. Who knew humans could live so far inland?

Phipps Conservatory Winter Light Garden and Flower Show
I just learned that the Phipps Conservatory hosts a winter garden full of light sculptures, open until 11pm each day.
Phipps Conservatory is adjacent to Schenley Park, one of the better places to go disc golfing in the city!

So this is why navigating Pittsburgh can be very confusing.
PGH has many 'burghs, little neighborhoods, boroughs, whatever people want to call them.
I am still finding new boroughs when i am lost. I still think there is not really one named Garfield. I would find it more believable if there was also one named Odie.
And why is there a hole in the middle by Southside Slopes? There seems to be a political enclave there--a borough that gained it's independence from the Mother Pitt? I also see some questionable blank areas around Hays...
Where I am from, these would all be considered separate towns. When does it matter? When i am trying to find an address, such as Elm Street. Quite probably, every borough on this map has an Elm Street, so when i am desperately trying to find the best donut bakery in the world on Elm Street, I better know which zip code it is in, or I risk finding inferior donuts. Or not finding donuts at all.
ARGHHHHHHHH! WHAT IS GOING ON? The vinecliffe stairs are closed and destroyed? Why why why? Does anyone know if there are plans to rebuild?
