If you don’t realise it, talking about height is perfectly normal and it doesn’t come up often enough. And I don’t lord over people on how tall I am and you need to also realise that with free speech, there is also the responsibility of handling the consequences of which you have not realised.

Before attempting to lecture someone, you will have to find out the reason as to why they made that statement or at least be aware of their personality. Trigger warnings and such are important, I will agree. However, by constantly emphasising their use, of which tumblr is quite infamous has made the term trigger warning overused and lost it’s true meaning.

So do me favor? Initiate a conversation with me. Get to know who I am before you start talking my ear off. I may have made poor decisions with my words and have even placed my foot into my mouth and accidentally triggering certain people but it is one thing to lecture someone out of the blue.
