Ethiopia’s First Female Superhero Comic ‘Hawi’ is Here

The comic book digs deep through the trenches of history and is inspired by Ethiopian Queen Yodit Gudit.

Get the word out about the first ever Ethiopian, Female superhero, created by Etan Comics! The series is called Hawi and it’s available in both English and Amharic(the official language of Ethiopia). It’s produced by an all African team and happens to be the first of it’s kind! It needs way more publicity than it’s getting!

It’s available for pre-order right now!

This means so much to me as an Ethiopian girl myself, who grew up with superheros. I want to see it blow up because it should!
