Hiatus Notice.

[ Yoo so I know I owe a crap ton of people on here drafts and messages wise, and for that I’m seriously really sorry. Ya’ll have been so patient with me and I really really appreciate it. But like, I’m super anxious and uncomfortable about logging into this blog lately? I’m really not having fun writing Nick. Idk what it is, but I’m needing a break from the Grimm thing for now.            “Mostly fine,” he corrected, grinning.      The boy couldn’t help it. He liked making jokes at times like these.      He found that on most occasions, it reassured people that he was       alright. And debatably more important, it reassured himself.

                  Which he needed sometimes.

            “Just, uh, let me find someplace to sit that’s not the floor.”

Nick simply rolls his eyes, coming to terms with the fact he’s never going to get Zak to admit he’s hurt. If that helped the teen cope with it, he wasn’t about to take that from him. That didn’t mean he wouldn’t continue to urge him to have his injury looked at, though.       “The waiting room at the doctor’s office has       plenty of places for you to sit.”

Good point. Wu couldn’t remember the last time that a murder case actually seemed NORMAL. “How do you keep up with this wesen stuff? I can’t imagine how many wesen there could be.”

“I couldn’t without Monroe and Rosalee’s help.” That much was true, considering he was still a novice Grimm. “Thousands, probably. There has to be some out there none of us have seen yet.”

the magician hadn’t bothered to look as he seemed far more interested in a few of the case files that he had ‘liberated’ earlier from the police station. he was sure nick’s partner wouldn’t get in too much trouble if it was all found out. then again, the surprise had been when he had ran into a BASTARD royal in charge of the station. he flipped through the police records, and smirked at how sloppy the grimm’s handwriting actually came off as; his free hand idly scratched at his head. at least he could understand this grimm. most of the ones he had met before were too full of themselves and it showed in how they reported.

A tired sigh escapes his lips before he’s re-holstering his weapon, the Grimm’s eyes falling on the files scattered around Constantine. There was the question of how he got a hold of them, but that wasn’t an incredibly pressing matter. They were older cases by the looks of the folders, ones that would have been marked as solved and put into storage. Nick could only hope that John hadn’t made a downright spectacle of himself at the station.  ;“We call this breaking and entering in the real world. I never told you where I lived, did someone tell you when you were at the station? What do you want with these old case reports?”

      It was endlessly endearing, how Nick seemed to be so       concerned over her well-being, but sometimes she just       had to be let go to do her own thing. Gwen survived lots       of crazy things before he came along and this was just a       boy – she could handle herself. Nodding her head, Gwen       grabbed her blue coat and slipped it on, adjusting the hood       and buttoning up the front.

      She’d give him that much.

     “Are you trying to say I      wouldn’t be nice to him?” His overprotectiveness extended to many people. Gwen happened to be one of them. Maybe she’d let him meet the boy, maybe not. Perhaps if Nick promised not to threaten him in any way, that might work in the Grimm’s favor. He grabbed his keys and cellphone, making his way to the doorway in a few quick strides.        “Does he have a last name?”

Juliette smiled at him, lightly tapping his nose with a candy cane. "Lazy bum, we have to go, and get started on the decorations."

   Nick lazily opened his eyes, returning her smile with a sleepy    one of his own. He had dozed off on the couch, half a mug of    his eggnog still resting on the coffee table. “Alright, you get the    lights and I’ll find the ornament box.”

He’s itching to grab his weapon, a nasty feeling settling over him that makes the Grimm’s skin crawl. As far as Nick can tell; he’s not wesen, but standing beside a body is definitely cause for him to be suspicious. There’s nothing that could prove he was the cause of this, but Nick can’t help but ask anyway.

He had originally gone out in search of Monroe, assuming the blutbad would be running around and howling at the moon somewhere. While he wasn’t planning on encountering anyone else, seeing another figure lurking in the darkness made him stop in his tracks. 

   “It’s a little late for a walk.”

It’s a predicament he finds himself in all too often. If he comes across a wesen causing problems, it’s his duty to put a stop to it. Nick can’t let any harm come to innocents. Unfortunately, he seems to have attracted an audience this time.

He fiddles with the badge clipped to his side, narrowing his eyes at the man standing across from him. It had been a tricky situation, to say the least. The crime scene wasn’t offering the police much in terms of evidence, so they had no choice but to rely heavily on witness testimony. Perhaps Nick could get some information out of a bystander.

   “Let’s start with your name, then you     can tell me exactly what you saw.”
