"Uhm." Henry cocked his head, then pointed at the newborn baby Andie was holding. "That's not one of ours." He frowned at her. "It's not, right?"
"Not unless I had one overnight. Awful lot shorter than my last pregnancy if that’s the case." Andie chuckled, winking at him as she rocked the baby in her arms. "Believe it or not, this gorgeous little guy is my cousin. My Aunt Mabry and her husband came for a visit and wanted to have some alone time, so I told them we’d take the little fella for the night. The twins love him."
"But it’s fun work, at least in the beginning. After that it gets a little rough on Mommy." Andie chuckled, winking at him. Emmet shifted in her arms, sucking on his pacifier. "I’ve gotta admit, I’ve missed having a little one to hold. I adore the twins but I miss when they were this tiny."
Henry hummed his agreement before motioning to Emmet. "Do you mind if I hold him for a little bit?" He looked down at Emmet, mostly to hide his own expression. "I kind of missed it, too."

Andie chuckled and nodded, beaming up at him. “My thoughts exactly. However I did have to explain that you couldn’t just go to a store and buy a baby when he asked if we could. He was a bit confused by that but I was able to explain enough to him so his curiosity would be satisfied. I also told him I had to talk to you first so we could make the decision as a family, because babies are kind of a big deal.”
"Yeah, babies are kind of a big deal," Henry agreed, tickling underneath the baby's chin. "And, no, you can't buy them at the store. You've got to put a little work into making them."

"He said, and I quote, ‘We should get one. Babies are pretty cool.’" Andie grinned, chuckling as she recalled the seriousness in their son’s voice.
Henry reached his hand up from the baby's face to push Andie's hair back from her face and stuck it behind her ear. He grinned back at her. "Maybe Eli's right. I mean, the twins are four now, almost five. We could handle it." Henry's smile widened. "And, I mean, babies are pretty cool, he's got a point."

"His name is Emmet. He’s such a sweetie, quiet too, which had me worried at first considering how vocal the twins were when they were babies." Andie smiled, looking down at the infant. "You know what Eli said after he got to hold him?"
"Yeah, but they were little jabberjaws, that's probably not the norm," Henry reminded her. He raised an eyebrow up at her before straightening up from where he was bent over the baby in her arms. "No idea. What'd he say?"

"I bet they do," Henry laughed, coming closer, stroking the baby's cheek with his fingertip. "He's a little guy, huh? What's his name?"
"I’m a beach bum."
