here we go lads, one of the ways i wasted an evening on getty best stories of f1:
THE STORY OF BLEACH BLONDE SEB
Seb did have his quarrels with hair styles, but the box bleach hair style is one that stays in mind. It makes him look like a jackass and in 2013, his most dominant season, he totally was one but do I hate him for it? No.
Bleach blonde Seb stands for domination, for strength and looking like a cool villain.
It all began in Spa 2013 where he showed up with his hair completely bleached (imo to blend in with his finnish entourage)
he kept his hair like this during the next race, Monza, as well
but had cut it when he came to Singapore after, probably because it was beecoming a little shaggy (reminiscent of 2010 seb but with less hair volume, so he obviously cut it to not have to think about the thinning hair)
after that came Korea and Japan with little to no change and then India, where he got his fourth - and most dominant - world championship title. The hair grew out a little again, into one of the in my opinion best seb hair styles
beyond that, the hair stayed more of the same frosted tips/outgrown bleach through the rest of the races in the US and Brazil
until he showed up to 2014 winter testing with his natural hair color fully restored.
