He lived his life with a purpose. He spoke on the ethical treatment of animals, he used his voice to confront the political corruption within the U.S. government and the discrimination against African Americans that is still prevalent today.

He used his fame to speak on the issues that matter. His music reflected how the world should be, United and free of hatred. Prince was always a role model to me, he wasn’t afraid to break the rules and he followed his own “heart song.” I’m still crying purple tears, but I know he lived a legend life and I view his passing as a statement to the world that we need to get our shit together and start loving each other. RIP Prince you will forever be in my heart and I’ll continue to live through your music.
