Well yesterday turned into my first 60K instead of my first 50 miler, but I still had an amazing weekend with my love and our friends. Rain got the best of me, and basically turned the trail into a river. I found it nearly impossible to keep my footing, and because I had to slow down so much I ended up missing the cutoff for the 50 miler by a few minutes. I finished the 60K in about 9 hours and 12 minutes, which is still a distance PR and my longest time on feet. I also PR’d my marathon and 50K times. And, my amazing boyfriend placed 5th in the 60K 🏆 so, we spent the evening celebrating with friends, and I’m focusing on upcoming races and appreciating the fact that I still earned my first buckle 🏅 (at Land Between the Lakes) https://www.instagram.com/p/B9xeUX6F3MN/?igshid=ylfshutv133i
