i like to think about a post-canon (au?) future where gregor goes to college in NYC (predictably his mother Freaks Out, but she lets him go bc he got some really good scholarships) and it’s kind of the best option they’ve got. So gregor is in NYC. and he just occasionally goes to the underland to fuck around. he’s not the warrior anymore, he killed the warrior. so he just goes down there to like. eat dinner when the dining hall sounds bad. or to see ripred, luxa, and howard. sometimes he goes to luxa’s meetings with her and the council bitches but really, they can’t even do anything bc luxa is actually queen and she wants him there. and he’s always able to leave whenever he wants.
