a kitten was left at my door step and i was forced to raise him as my own. he is so little he needs to be bottle fed. i have named him zesty, as he is orange and has a zest for life. he is doing well despite being too small for his age.

on a whim i made my dad an elephant fursona. he loves it, and now he wants me to make him a graphic to use in posters and signs to promote the new small business he opened. he also requested i make him a logo based on the name of the store (which now includes elephant as he is really feeling the elephant vibes). so i came up with a design where i use the acronym of the store (eva) and make it look like an elephant. i am just learning how to use adobe illustrator. its a lot of fun working with the program and figuring out how to make all sorts of strange shapes with the tools.

i have been going to therapy once a week now since mid april. i track my mood daily to monitor my mood swings. last month, i saw a considerable reduction in days where i was sad, depressed, or anxious. it went from 1/2 to 1/3 of the month spent in some kind of distress, to only 1/6 of the month. and i think have like 4 or 5 days where you are stressed or sad in a month is within the range of 'normal'. proud of myself for getting back into therapy. and grateful that it seems to be helping.

I drew The Big Lebowski as a gift for one of my professors.

Final art project in African American Studies. It is meant to symbolize how despite their two distinct schools of thought, Malcolm X and MLK Jr. formed a cohesive Civil Rights movement together.

Drawn with prisma color markers and micron pens.

This was originally a planar study I did for class. I decided to finish it by trying something different than I normally would. I cut a hole out where the eye should be, and put a tiny geode behind it. I like the overall effect and the depth it creates.
