There are days that are tough…. Really tough. And there are days where I don’t feel like I have time to watch every little thing Julisabel does, or play every game she wants to play, or hold her every time she wants to be held. There are times when I am stressed or busy and I miss out on such sweet moments we could have had.

Today was almost one of those days. And then I reminded myself that tomorrow she will be a day older. She will never ever be this little again. And these are the best days of our lives… I don’t want to miss them because I was too busy. I don’t want to look back one day with regret and wish that I had been more present because “those were the days”….

These ARE the days… The best days… So today, I snuggled a little longer than normal, I nursed a few more times than usual, and we laughed a little harder than before.

Today I slowed down and loved my baby a little extra.
