so i went down to LA to film my new music video and it was so much fun! but now i’m glad to be back. i’m also a little spooked that thanksgiving is so close. which means it’s close to my birthday, which means it’s almost christmas. is this what happens when you get old, everything just..bunches together?! @mountmeadow​

I can’t believe it’s almost Thanksgiving. Where has the time gone? I’m so excited for Christmas, though. That’s my favourite time of year. I’m already itching to get the decorations up but everyone always tells me you have to wait until after Thanksgiving. Why is that even a thing? I don’t want to wait. Yep, pretty much! The older you get, the quicker everything goes.

Yeah, that’s why I love Christmas. It just seems like everyone is in such higher spirits and I love that. Also, the town does some amazing events. It makes it seem all the more magical. I’m free tomorrow if you want to hang and catch up.

Really? It was kinda icky for me if I’m being honest which is funny because I love candy and wine! The chocolates went the best with the drinks, I think. You and me both. I’m so upset it’s already halfway over. To be honest I might protest in the form of refusing to take down the halloween decorations. I might just add to them to make a mix of spooky and christmas the way we managed to do with the rest of the house! I can’t stop staring at the tree, it’s my favorite part. You should come see it, hun! I’d love to have you offer for these baking and spooky festivities! Oh wow, that’s amazing. You’re always doing such good speaking up about those things and it’s so fortunate that fans have someone like you to hear it from and help when they’re feeling down too. I can’t wait to see it.

I think too much of it could be a bit icky but I didn’t overdo myself! Besides, if I have more than two glasses of wine then I’m a hot mess and Shay has to carry me home. The struggles of barely drinking because my body is garbage. Do it! Go for a spooky Nightmare Before Christmas kind of vibe. I wanted to do the same last year just because I was too lazy to take down my Halloween decorations. I’d love to! Name me a time and I’m there. I hope it helps people, that’s one of the reasons why I did it. Like, just showing people that while we may be in the spotlight we’re still people too and go through the same things.

Yes! That’s one of my favourite parts, too. They all look so adorable. I can’t wait to dress Atlas up this year. I don’t know what Shay has in mind but we’ll make her the most adorable spooky kid around town. There was an event last week or so that had us drink wine with different candy. It was amazing. I’m hoping they do it again sometime. I’m great! Looking forward to all the events coming up for Halloween.

I knew wine and cheese was a thing but I think wine and candy should overtake that. We need to figure out who invented it and thank them. That makes me so happy to hear! I think it’s the most vulnerable I’ve ever been before but that’s important to show people, I think. I’m just human like everyone else.

Wasn’t it the coolest thing in the world? I think that I ate my weight in mini candy bars. I love Halloween, but it isn’t as big of a deal across the pond. It’s so fun with a little one too and we have been doing all the fall activities. I think that I’m gonna love trick or treating but I also loved decorating my house and all that. Oh, that’s so incredible! I can’t wait to watch it and I’m so proud of you.
