It was nice knowing that he had a few days with his family and both his son and daughter were there. Both his brothers always enjoy the time with their nephew and niece as well, so it finally felt whole. Of course, they were still missing the rest of their family on this tour but Joe felt content having the three with him…his family. He was determined to have any time off with them, to help Selena with all the baby things and show her loving because being apart definitely did take a toll on them both as a couple. Taking a hold of her hands he gently pulled her up closer to him having both their bodies pressed against each other. “I have to agree though and I’m glad you brought all your fall essentials with you.” Joe’s brows perked up at the thought of a massage, it wasn’t something he had thought about but now that she had mentioned it he could definitely use one. “Have I ever told you just how much I love you?” He asked as a smile spread across his lips. “I’ll return the favor right after though. I know you’ve been busy taking care of the babies…I’m sorry I haven’t been around to help out either.” It dawned on Joe just how absent he was which made him feel like complete shit at the end of the night. If he was being honest, this wasn’t how he had envisioned their first few months being married or with their children but it’s what life dealt him.

God, this is what she missed. Just the presence of him in the same room made everything better. There was nothing like it. “Eh, once or twice. I guess.” She teased. “I was going to get a massage therapist to give you a good one, but the thought of another woman rubbing you down makes me irritated.” She admitted with an embarrassed smile. She was protective over him, and clearly didn’t like advances of another woman on her husband. Though she knew how he was viewed to a lot of females that were fans of him. Well aware of how lucky she was that he always came home to her. “Hey.” She pouted, her hands wandering up his bare chest. The warmth of the shower radiating off of him. Still a few droplets of water rolling down his skin and it was making it harder for Selena to keep her hands to herself. “You don’t have to do anything but get some much needed rest, okay?” Her hands now placed on his cheeks to make him look at her. That famous stern brow raising and making it’s return. “I know you have this idea that you owe me but you don’t, baby. I am just content with being here with you. That’s all I want.” Giving him a smile, her eyes softened. The adoration for the man in front of her could be felt through the whole hotel building, she was sure of it. “Now. Take this off and lay down.” She tapped the side of his thigh that was covered with the towel. Stepping back so he could get situated on the bed.

When did you get married why don't you have your husband's name?

I got married on July 23rd, a day after my birthday. I do have my hubby’s name legally. I just keep Gomez for business purposes but I am officially Mrs. Selena Jonas.

How has life been since your surgery?

It’s been something to adjust to, obviously. My friends and family have supported me a lot. Though I wouldn’t be as happy as I am today without the three major people who’ve helped me through it all.

Francia Raisa, who quite literally saved my life, has and will be everything to me. I could go on and on about her, but she hates when I brag about her. She’ll always be in my life if you know what I mean. I love her so much. 

Taylor Swift, my best friend for a decade and more. I get so much inspiration with my new music from her. She shows me what it’s like to be a powerful woman who doesn’t apologize and I’ve taken that head on in the past two years. To never apologize for being myself and enjoy my creativity. @alisonswiftaylor

Lastly, my darling husband, Joseph Adam Jonas who’s done everything and anything he could to make me feel comfortable and safe when we were just dating, to being pregnant, and until today. He can tell with one look when I need a break/sleep/my medication or whatever it is. It’s bizarre but he just knows me better than I know myself, really. I’m thankful to have a someone who has my back physically, emotionally and mentally. I hope one day I can return the favor and show him how thankful I am for him or at least try to. @jonazjoe
