@semiaestheticmathematics
7/21/17 - I’m going to work on my notes every day but only post a couple of days (benefit of taking the notes > benefit of posting them). These past couple days I worked on General GRE math, a little bit of vector calculus, and a little bit of parametric equations.
7/18/17 - Went over some more precalc stuff today from the MGRE; reviewed the division algorithm and the remainder theorem among other topics. I also review polar coordinates (finally) and went through an example.
7/17/17 - So much for posting every day. Saturday I worked on some simple triple integrals and got a much better feel for setting up bounds. Sunday I started reading up on precalc from the Princeton MGRE review book and learned a new theorem on polynomials. Today I continued with that material and reviewed conic sections.
7/14/17 - Reviewed triple integrals in the context of volume today. I need more practice setting up bounds. Ran into polar coordinates and realized I’ve forgotten much about how they are implemented.
7/13/17 - Saw another application of the Lagrange multiplier method. Reviewed double integrals with region specifications. Ran into triple integrals in the context of finding volume (will review this more tomorrow).
7/12/17 - Worked on the second derivative test and the method of Lagrange multipliers today.
