Penny turned to her left and then to her right, the coast was clear. Escaping the building was the easy part, staying hidden was a bit more challenging. She had been meaning to get out all week but just now find the time. After the incident when the grimm got into the city, she hasn't been allowed outside in forever. Taking alleys to stay hidden, she made her way to Beacon.

Tadashi smiled as he looked to her, “That is amazing.” He said as he circled around her, “Now what is an aura?” He asked as he examined the pouch on her back, before moving to face her once more. “I apologize, I’ve just never seen a design so advanced used before.” He held out a hand, “I’m Tadashi, it’s a pleasure to meet you Penny.” He said with a warm smile.
Penny took Tadashi's hand and shook it. "Well Tadashi, what do you do? You seem to be very intelligent.' Penny walked around the lab, examining the different stations. She noticed each one was very unique. To her left was a very organized station with everything in place, but to her right there was a pink material all over the floor and cabinets.
"Oh hello there sorry to bump into you at a bad time but are you penny? I'm Voxus by the way."
"Oh, Salutations Voxus! I am indeed Penny. Do you need my assistance?"
"That’s a rough term for it, but yes essentially." Penny got up and began walking again. "Have you met anyone else in the Void? If you don’t mind me asking."
Vox looked down. “No…” Vox was still thinking about how penny is a robot and not a human, yet she has a lot of human characteristics.
Penny frowned, “Well, do you perhaps have questions about me? Only a handful of people actually know the truth about me. If we’re friends, we should tell each other things!” Penny gave a smile, trying to steer the conversation.
"Say Penny, don’t worry even if you are an android my thoughts of you won’t change you are still a friend to me and I would consider you human if that makes you feel better."
Penny lit up, "Ooooooooh Vox!" Penny gave Vox a hug, picking him up off the ground. "You're such a good friend, thank you!"

Tadashi stared in amazement at the girl, there was no way that this was a robot. “Woah…” He managed to mutter, before further examining her. “Are you combat ready? or Medically ready?” The teen asked as he looked back up to her.
"Oh, hello there! To answer your question, I am a fully synthetic and fully combat ready being capable of generating an aura. My name is Penny, what is yours?" Penny looked up to the tall young man.

Penny stood there, in full shock and awe. She let everything sink in for a minute. “W-wow. Uh, thats a mouth full alright.” As they walked, she found a nearby bench and sat down. “Now, where do i begin…I guess i should start and say, I’m not who i appear to be.” She looked at Vox and stared at her own hands. “I was made, unlike most people being born. Scientists have tried and tried, but my father made the world’s first synthetic person capable of generating an Aura…me.” She clenched her fists and stared at Vox. “I’m here to compete in the tournament to prove that I’m worthy of saving the world one day. Thats what General Ironwood says anyways…” She drifted off, then snapped back to reality. “I believe you Vox.”
Vox peered at penny for second with his hand over his mouth. “So…you like an android….”

(Fatal Blow) After watching Cinder vanish into the night, Avellen ran back to Penny and fell to her knees. Bringing Penny up enough to see her, Avellen asked,"Why Penny, why did you have to take her dust attack for me? I would have been just fine!"
"We’ve been through so much together, friend…I couldn’t stand to see anything happen to you. My body moved on it’s own." Penny laid there in as much pain as her synthetically formed nerves would let her be in. She never knew if she could die or would simply need a reboot, but seeing Avellen for what she thought was the last time felt like death.
After searching for over an hour, Avellen was unable to find any trace of where Cinder had disappeared to after their fight. Yelling in frustration, she summoned her keyblade and sliced through a random lamp post after she had deactivated her semblance and landed onto the ground. After getting he small bout of anger out of her, Avellen noticed that her scroll had be vibrating for a while now. Opening it, she saw that there was a miniature map of Vale with a small red dot on screen; though what had surprised Avellen the most was where that red dot was located. Hoping that this wasn’t a dream, she contacted teams RWBY and JNPR to meet at the location of the signal.
Once the message had been sent, Avellen ran as fast as she could back towards the warehouse where she was forced to leave Penny, seeing as she had almost depleted all of her aura while searching for Cinder. After twenty minutes of running, she had made it back to the warehouse to see that the door into the place was still closed and that both teams were already there waiting for her. Walking up to the two teams, Avellen just told them to move as she pointed her keyblade at the door. A beam of light shot out of it and hit the door, which caused it to begin to open it. Once the door opened completely, everyone saw Penny at the other end of the warehouse with part of her right side completely missing. With everyone holding up a part of Penny, they were able to get he back to Beacon with with the hopes of having Penny fully repaired.
Penny woke up in a jolt, "Avellen!" She yelled. Breathing heavy, she quickly glanced around the room. It was plain white and was oddly familiar. It almost looked like the room she was created in. She went to the door and opened it. Being careful, she peered outside into the hallway. No one was to be seen. Penny began to walk down the hall, stumbling every couple feet like her legs weren't her's. She got to the elevator and hit the lobby button. waiting patiently she began to get suspicious. No voice over the intercom and no one in the hallways. The doors opened and she walked out hesitantly. .
