Kota stretched a bit and sighed, âKota Kazuraba, one of the former beat riders in this city, nameâs been dragged through the mud, even though Iâm trying to protect the people from those monstersâŠâ he let out a deep sigh.
"Canât blame the people for being scared though, I mean not everyone can fly and materialize weapons out of thin air. Â Besides, itâs better they keep their distance, donât want them to get hurt in the cross fire."
Remaining a bit questionable about this young man, the detective decided to ask this former rider about this city to hopefully gain his trust if what he said is true. âSoukichi Narumi. Private Detective. Maybe you can answer a few questions of mine.â
"A private detective huh?" Kota thought over the scenario for a moment, anyone could be this man's client, most likely Yggdrasil...
"I could answer some questions, but I've got one for you first, why are you on this case?"
If he had a good reason, Kota could be less suspicious of the man, but if he couldn't answer, or answered because of "Money" he'd immediately assume he was from Yggdrasil.

 "âŠâŠ.." The rider detective remained silent, adjusting his hat as he did so. He knew word was spreading fast about his involvement in this case as it should. It was a part of his overall investigation but he had yet to use Skull in his time that he had been here. So when this man simply walked up to call him a rider, he couldnât help but to feel suspect about this whole interaction. "âŠIt seems you know about that. Who are you exactly?"
Kota stretched a bit and sighed, "Kota Kazuraba, one of the former beat riders in this city, name's been dragged through the mud, even though I'm trying to protect the people from those monsters..." he let out a deep sigh.

 Kota blinks a bit, âOh like this!â  Kota says with a grin, before taking out the Suika lockseed and activating it.
To those capable of seeing spirits, theyâd see a spectral form Gaimâs Suika Arms appear in itâs flight mode, and Kota standing inside of it, but to most people, itâd seem as though Kota was simply floating in midair, while holding a massive and weird looking dual bladed sword.
Being as he couldnât see spirits, he simply saw the large blade appear. âWhat theâŠâ
Kota grinned a bit, "This, this is the power of a stand" he explained to Masaru. Â "Unfortunately, only Stand users and people with soul perception can see these things, I bet I look like I'm just floating with a sword to you, don't I? Â I can't really explain it much more...it's just kinda works."

 Kota stretches a bit and offers his hand to shake, âKota, Kazuaraba Kota,  Itâs nice to meet you Masaru.â he stretches a bit.  âIâm guessing you fought one of the Class A inves in that case, âcuz I usually mop the floor with elementary inves in no time flat.âÂ
Heâd take his hand and shake it. âI guess thatâs what theyâre called? This one looked like a bipedal deer with weird colors.â
Kota nods, "Aye, that was an A Class inves alright" he writes down something on a piece of paper. Â "Call me if you happen to stumble upon another, I'll come an help, the Suika class lockseed lets me fly...for some reason."

Â Maybe I should wear a mask since I have powers and Iâm protecting the city like this, I wouldnât really be able to transform into a costume though" Kota said, starting out enthusiastic, but becoming somewhat melancholic about the fact he doesnât "Transform" like a Kamen Rider would.
"So what brings you to Zawame City? Â Guessing you heard about the inves?"
"You could say that. Â I was passing by when I encountered a few. Â Tough creatures, too. Â But then again, my gearâs kinda outdated."
"Gah, sorry. Â I got a little ahead of myself. Â The nameâs Masaru. Â Kurosaki Masaru. Â And you are?"

If you even make one move out step they can have her and possibly you killed. You need to think Kota! You canât just run into this head first." She sighs as she yawns softly as she lays her head on the floor.
Kota sighs a bit and stretches, âI understand youâre worried about me, especially after the other me diedâŠbut since you know the other me then you should know that I canât just sit by and wait for things to happen, and besides, I have this nowâ he holds up a genesis core.
 Kotaâs face turns downcast for a moment, ââŠI wanted to tell his team and his parents, they deserve to know, but Micchy stopped me from doing that for some reason, and to be fair I see his point, would Haseâs team or parents really believe me if I told them he turned into a monster like that?  Much less that the death was caused by Yggdrasil members, whoâve provided so many jobs and opportunities for the people in the city.  I mean sure, turning into a monsterâs pretty common in this world, but it usually happens after the personâs died, Iâm sure you heard about the Smart Brain incidents back in 2003-2004, the Orphenochs?  Sorry Iâm straying from the subject matter againâŠitâs just a hard to talk about. â

Kota shrugs, "Maybe it's not, but it has to be faced head on if you want to live...I've been learning that slowly but surely. Â But Ms. Pie, what we're facing isn't what growing up is...we're growing up in the middle of a war...like the masked man with the white stand had said, if we don't fight, we'll die." Kota said in a melancholic tone. Â "But at the same time, we can't wallow in our losses, we can't sit around and be depressed, we have a REASON to fight, and just to keep that reason alive, we also have to enjoy the little things."

"Heâs still around, he took Jonouchi under his wing for some reason, theyâve been kind of a nuisance as of late, kinda likeâŠ" Kota rubs his chin as he tries to think of an example.  "Team Rocket!  Yeah them, you know from Pokemon" Kota chuckles a bit, "All they need to fit the bill is a little elementary inves who goes around with them saying "Thats right!" "
"Oh wow that would be perfect⊠Although. Does anyone else know about Hase dying?" She reverts the conversation back to a serious manner. "I know iâm supposed to be funny but this isnât the time for jokes."

Headcanon#2: while they don't currently
....The Gaim stand users will eventually don helmets based on their stands, thus becoming "Kamen" Riders, rather than Beat Riders.
Headcanon #1: As a kid, Kota read imported Spider-man comics, and news Reports on Kamen Riders, as well as other stand users.
And those helped shape his personality into the responsible young man we know now.
