Right, so it was to protect herself from abuse, apparently. Something’s not quite stirring the tea with lying about being trans to prevent abuse, but I guess that’s just an enigma that’ll be answered indirectly sometime later.
As for this screenshot, even if it’s true, the last thing her friend said seems a bit ambiguous to me, but that may just be me. From cub’s post I know she has attested to being able to fake screenshots (Why would anyone ever do that???? It’s just rude and manipulative!) so I don’t trust it, either.

If you were id’ing as a cis boy when you were younger for your safety, why were you a girl in those pictures of you when you were younger ? Still makes zero sense …
