A yawn emitted from Kenma as he flopped onto the modern couch almost effortlessly, legs shifted into a cross-legged position as hands gripped onto the tip of his feet — the toes. It was as boring as your average typical school holiday with someone like him could be,  Kuroo holding the remote control to the television a few feet in front of them with a table inbetween. 

His mum wasn’t home as per usual, not that it would matter since she never paid much heed to him for the simple fact that Kenma rarely ever brought friends only, and he would only keep cats that he found for a day or two before handing them over to the cat lady across the street. He didn’t have the resources to take care of one, might as well hand it over to someone who did with genuine love and concern for the felines.

     There was nothing wrong with this, really. Just a normal day for the two of them. Truly having been friends so long there weren't many new things they could do together. The option to go outside and practice was always there, but how often did they take a break? It was probably better to enjoy it while they could. 

     He finds himself flicking through channels quicker than other days, television always seemed so boring during holidays, as if they were purposely shoving children to go outside and do something. Who knows, maybe it was some government conspiracy to do just that.

     His eyes only raise when the other speaks, a smile tugging at his lips. 

"You know, I hear only boring people get bored.. Maybe you need to find a new hobby for days like these"
