There are those who say fate is something beyond our command. That destiny is not our own, but I know better. Our fate lives within us, you only have to be brave enough to see it.

I hope October will be a good month for everyone
Last time I reblogged a post with good vibes it worked, and I had a month full of awesome surprises. I really, REALLY hope and wish everyone experiences that. Itās great, and everyone deserves it.
Let's see.......
Nicki Minaj, born into poverty in Trinidad with a crack addicted father who worked her ass off pretty much by her damn self to become successful in the most male dominated music genre tries to start a conversation about racism in the music industry. Miley Cyrus, white child from Tennessee, who became famous from a Disney show her rich father got for her and then re-launched her career by sticking a foam finger up her vagina tries to tell Nicki how she should and should not address racism.
The tea is too damn hot.
Read this, learn this, and remember this when they call Nicki an angry bitch tomorrow.
Okay we can all have a good laugh and cheer at what went down tonight but in all seriousness what she was doing was calling out a white woman on her horribly patronizing, racist behavior. A white woman tried to silence and belittle a Black womanās pain because she didnāt like how it was presented and proceeded to dismiss it because she was too angry. Miley condescended to her, telling a black woman how best to deal with something that she as a white woman will never have to deal with. And Nicki clapped back. On national television. In front of a live audience, in front of the world, on air.
If you think the media and its industries arenāt going to punish her for it then I need you to pay real close attention to her the next coming months, because you can bet she wonāt have as many appearances or invitations, you can bet she will get even less recognition and even more criticism, you can bet most mentions of her will associate her with the Angry Black Woman stereotype without ever addressing why she was angry or recognizing that her anger was justified. They are going to make Nicki out to be the ultimate bad guy when the reality is she was defending herself-and by proxy, Black women in entertainer everywhere-against some serious displays of ignorance and racism. But you watch. Watch whatās going to happen to Nicki after this.
The clap back was hilarious, yes, but there is a reason Black people are celebrating it; because Nicki showed some serious courage. Black people, Black women especially, are expected to shoulder any and all abuse silently. She refused. At the end of the day, to these people, she is just a Black woman who is supposed to shut up and take whatever bullshit gets thrown at her. She isnāt supposed to defend herself, especially not if it means hurting white womenās feelings. Protect Nicki Minaj at all fucking costs. Support her at all costs, because sheās going to come under serious fire.
did miley know it was judgement day when she woke up this morning
Look at how they worded that. Look at the picture.Ā āExplodedā,Ā āWent nutsā, anything to make the woman of color look like a crazy bully who came for poor innocent Miley. Like Nicki didnāt have a valid reason to be upset in the first place before Miley and her crusty ass appropriating dreads didnāt speak out of turn. This shit was just a mess
During the GOP Debate, when asked about his multiple demeaning and sexist quotes against women, Donald Trump had this to say.
Itās disgusting how many people cheer, clap, and laugh at that.
Later this night, he then tweeted that Megyn Kelly (the woman asking the question) is aĀ ābimboā.
Heās a fucken prick.
!!!!!!!! BREAKING NEWS !!!!!!!!!!
Cop Says, āIām Gonna Get that N****rā Before Chasing Down Innocent Man, Strangling Him to Death
Stonewall, MS ā Jonathan Sanders was a horse trainer, who was often seen riding around town in his horse-drawn buggy. Sadly, thanks to a Mississippi cop, Sanders will not be seen driving that buggy any longer.
Last Wednesday, Sanders was out in his buggy when he saw an altercation between Officer Kevin Herrington and another man, whom Sanders knew.According to an attorney for the family, C.J. Lawrence, Sanders attempted to diffuse the altercation and asked Herrington to leave the man alone. Sanders then proceeded on his way.
According to the Huffington post, a witness allegedly heard Herrington say, āIām gonna get that n*gger.āĀ
Multiple witnesses watched as Herrington then got in his car and chased down Sanders.Ā They then saw Herrington get behind Sanders with his patrol car and turn on his lights, spooking his horse. As the horse took off, Sanders gets knocked from the buggy, but immediately got up to pursue his horse, not realizing what had just happened.
āJonathan immediately began to run after his horse, unaware of what was going on behind him,ā Lawrence said. āHerrington proceeded to chase Jonathan.ā
To see where he was going, Sanders wore a headlight. When he caught up to Sanders,
Herrington grabbed his headlight, threw the man to his knees, and began to strangle him as Sanders was in a āpraying position.ā WitnessesĀ watched as Herrington, with both arms around his neck, strangled the life out of Sanders.Ā
Ā Sanders was in the headlock for 20 minutes which is more than enough time for him to haveĀ stopped breathing, gone unconscious, and died.
One of the witnesses, a corrections officer in Stonewall, allegedly came out to confront Herrington in an attempt to stop the murder. He pleaded with Herrington to let Sanders go, at which point the officer claimed that Sanders āreached for his gun.ā Still the corrections officer asked him to let the now dying man free so he could attempt CPR, but Herrington refused, according to the witness.
Harrington has been placed on administrative leave without pay as authorities investigate what happened, The Clarion Ledger reported. Ā
