I sometimes struggle with feeling bad and can feel things like guilt, shame, and worry along with the original sadness. It can be nice to remember that no one only has good days. We all feel a huge range of things, both negative and positive, and that's part of living a full life!

Fish Upon the Sky has been one of my most awaited 2021 series since the official teaser video was released back in December. I simply fell in love with the characters and the Getsunova soundtrack. Since I liked the premise of the story, I had followed the updates through the cast IGs and I was very happy when GMMTV announced FUTS would premiere after ATOTS. My expectation was very high, especially after watching ATOTS. I was like...wow, GMMTV is improving more and more, I’m sure FUTS will be another great masterpiece!
From episode 01 until part of episode 07, I enjoyed it a lot, thanks to the amazing acting of the cast and the chemistry between the two couples, not to mention Mix’s presence. I’m biased, I know, but even if he’s just a guest in this show, he shines in the scenes and his Mueng Nan brings something special to the story that I can’t explain.
Okay, let me stop blabbering and get back to FUTS. I could say the show was doing very well, despite exaggerating in some parts... but its greatness kinda fell down at the end of episode 07, when Pi said to Mork that he was going to insist on chasing after Nan, even after being clearly rejected. Pi’s stubborness simply put a damper on my enthusiasm for this show. And, then, when I think it couldn’t get any worse, episode 08 came as a huge disappointment, partially due to Pi’s thick-witted attitude, but not only that. Mork’s attitude wasn’t great either, but rather annoying. First, by following Pi around pretty much everywhere. Second, by agreeing with that new fanpage, regardless of Pi being clearly against it before...Third, by wanting to make him jealous. I mean, I agree that Mork wants to make Pi realize his feelings, but it isn’t nice to push him to confess. Besides that, those two ‘fans’ weren’t cool either when they created that page and letting those creepy stalkers comment...especially the blonde-haired guy who didn’t see anything wrong in all that toxicity (sth that is common irl, stalkers that call themselves fans, but don’t think about their idols before making things that let them uncomfortable) and decided to get revenge after being scolded for insisting on making the live. Last, but not least, Bam. I didn’t like the way they inserted her in the show, because it gives an impression that she appeared in the story just to make Pi feel jealous, although she is Mork’s old friend...and Idk why she has to be so purposely annoying! She could simply be around Mork and chat normally, but no...she made sure to be annoying and hateable in front of Pi.
All in all, imo, this series kinda lost its appeal, perhaps due to the direction...or maybe it was because I had too much expectation on it. The cast keeps being amazing though...Anyway, I think for now I’ll stick to watching mostly for Duen and Meen and for Nan’s once in a while cameo.
Yess, it is! Despite having a lot of cliché, it’s a funny and cute story...and both couples have a great chemistry! <3 It has been my “Frigay” joy after a tough week haha. :D
You know what’s bad about being a gifmaker? It’s to spend hours making gifsets for tumblr and seeing them flop, but still keep doing it. I’m such a clown haha :’D
