a lazy smirk trickles over pale lips when her quip registers, a noiseless chuckle rippling through the length of him. ‘ what a wimp. ’ he scoffs, twisting his body around until they lay perfectly parallel. any rising strain in her warm frame goes right over his unsuspecting head, too drunk off her aura to pick up on this shifting demeanor. ‘ yeah? ’ his palm treads backwards, skating across the front of her, encouraging the rise of her shirt with a smirk. ‘ what’d ya guys do? ’ the prompt to continue is more for the sake of hearing her melodic voice. calvin’s mind is already drifting, his libido running rampant. ‘ god, i missed you. ’ his words are nothing more than a soft exhale against the shell of her ear, deviant digits slipping under to trace suggestions over her navel. ‘ hm ? ’ pale eyes hesitate before peeling away from his languid handiwork. ‘ uh, few months i think? – why? ’ aside from a quick pinch of the brows, cal shows no signs of grave concern. sure - the question is decidedly out of place, but of all the guys his mom’s dated, this one seems alright.
a breath of a chuckle brews somewhere at the back of her throat, head shaking in a quaint dismissal. ‘ takes one to know one. ’ she quips, though she won’t press the issue any further than that out of lack of necessity. the press of his palm to her skin doesn’t calm her the way it normally does, though she doesn’t shy away from the warmth his attentiveness causes to spread through her veins. ‘ nothing, really. just talked a bit. told your mom all about how you refused to listen to me the whole tour and how i’d probably never speak to you again. -- she’s at the grocery store, by the way. ’ the next words he speaks have a smile tugging at the corners of her lips, content sigh expelling from her nose while she chews at her lesser brim. ‘ missed you, too. maybe tomorrow you can consider not sleeping all day, yeah ? ’ she quietly teases, fingers mindlessly carding through the hair at the nape of his neck. ‘ no reason. i was just curious, s’all. how’d they meet ? i don’t think you ever told me. ’
