I always think about what Geats would be like if Ace WASN'T the primary Rider and we had Tycoon, Na-Go or Buffa in his place.

Don't get me wrong, I love Ace a lot and he's honestly the highlight of the show for me so far, but I always think stuff like "Oh, what if the show had Keiwa as the main character instead of Ace? He's more of a traditional lead than him.", "It'd be cool if we had Neon as the lead, her story's so compelling!", etc."

"I get where Toei is coming from when they say Gavan Infinity isn't meant to be a reboot of Metal Heroes, but it seems questionable when the show uses the Gavan name, which also has a hero based on Jiraiya, and in the toy-line, has Emorgears based on the past Metal Heroes (though currently ones based on just the lead heroes, I'd expect variants for team shows like a Gavan Type-G variant of Gavan or B-Fighter having G-Stag or Reddle variants)."

"for whatever reason i can't fujo-out to kr like i get it the shows are usually about heated drama between men but also i fall in love with female characters so easily and i will focus on them and the yuri potential before anything else"

"I kinda wish we got to see Tegasword Black’s centaur form more. I know it’s probably more of a one off gimmick but I just think it’s neat a non-red / combined mecha has this alternate form."

"We’re almost halfway through the season and I still don’t understand the hype for Zeztz. It’s a painfully average Takahashi show."

"I don’t care for Diend, he’s fine for a character, his backstory is fine, I just can’t seem to care about him beyond being an obstacle to the Decade characters on occasion."

"I stay incredibly disappointed by how Gozyuger handled Sumino’s storyline when Yuuri from Timeranger has a similar storyline and it was handled better 25 years ago."

"Since watching Geats me and my younger brother refer to neon’s dad as Hideo Kojima, and now whoever I see his actor anywhere else I still call him Hideo Kojima."

"Baku gives me the cute squishy feeling I have when I'm around my little nephew. I just wanna pinch his cheeks and tell him he's my best boy!"

"I think it’s disappointing that so many people hate the presence of child actors in these shows when the target audience is children. They either complain about children being inherently “annoying” or if the character is a girl say that she’ll attract creeps (even a character like Atropos who has nothing age-inappropriate about her.) The idea that children shouldn’t be cast in a show aimed at them is just sad imo."

"I wish there was less incest in the Gozyuger tag on AO3. I get why Kuon x Hoeru exists and in general, I don’t really care for its existence because people want to write what they want to write and I always scroll past those fanfics. But I think 98 fanfics of them is enough and they are the top ship in the tag which I am very surprised that it isn’t wolfleon (Hoeru x Rikuo), considering how popular that ship is on Tumblr. I don’t even ship wolfleon but I genuinely thought that it would be the top ship."

"sometimes i resign myself to the knowledge that the fandom would've been all over yaiba and fuwa as a relationship if yaiba was a man, their dynamic is literally heated drama but because she's not a man y'all don't care about it (and that's on misogyny in fandom spaces)"

"i’m really intimidated to start gokaiger cuz it’s such a beloved season and it feels almost like mandatory reading but also knowing about gokai silver’s actor has kinda tempered my interest in the season"

"I think sentai are a bunch of cowards for genderflipping the suits for gokaiger just let Joe wear a skirt let Luka and Ahim wear pants the sentai “skirts” aren’t even really skirts like cmon

As a side note I’m still not over Gokai Silver getting his super form because he didnt wanna turn into Go-on Silver cuz he didn’t wanna wear a girls outfit THAT BAD even though the costumes do genderswap what a coward"
