This is about Atheism in the 21th Century. And Love. And Relationship Anarchism.
I’m an atheist. Which today, means I don’t believe in love. I mean, I don’t believe love can purify anyone’s life. Love exists. That’s actually the problem. Love happens. We are too used to adore things that doesn’t. Gods for example. “The” God, to be more specific. Love is real. It comes from evolution. We have the need to bond to other humans in a deep way because that’s the only maner we want to stick to them, and we need other people. The world is hostile and being in a bunch is safer than being alone. That’s all what love is about. Keep you away from being sacrificed.
But, for some reason, we have learnt that being in love is that moment when you could sacrifice yourself for other/s. Why? Sacrifice is a fetish in christian morals -if you don’t believe me, just take a look to Jesus in the cross. Is he having a milkshake on a vacation? No, he has just been sacrificed. And his warm corpse is EVERYWHERE, even on people’s chests.
Roman Catholic Church has been too long messing up with our brains.
They mislead love from its original purpose and changed it from a source of survival power into a doom of loneliness that you have to walk through.
They want you alone. They want to sacrifice you.
