"You should feel that way because you are worth something and, of course, your choices matter. You should always be your own top priority, and no, it is not selfish to feel that way. After a bit more cuddling, he helps wash her body, and while she washes her hair, he washes himself. Once both of them are washed and rinsed off, he wraps a towel around her, and then he leans over and drains the bath. He already has a towel around himself. He hands her a smaller towel for her hair, then he starts drying his own hair as he heads out of the bathroom. "Want to come cuddle in our towels until we are done drying? I don't feel like forcing my clothes on over wet skin" he cringes at the thought of it. Once her hair is wrapped in the towel, he scoops her up and carries her to his bedroom; he didn't even care to wait for an answer. He sets her on his bed, and then he sits down beside her. He turns the TV on and hands her the remote. "Watch whatever you want, I'm not picky right now" he smiles, then grabs his phone from its spot on the bedside table, unplugs it from its charger, and checks it.

When he set her down, she adjusted her towel, tucking it tighter around herself before leaning against him. “You’re right, though, putting on clothes while still damp is basically torture,” she giggled, reaching for the remote. She flipped through a few channels before leaving it on something peaceful, soft music playing over slow-moving scenes of nature. "I should be the one saying that to you, you make me feel alive...which is a hard thing to do." he pulls her close and kisses her deeply, then sits up. He was weak and tired but had enough energy to get around. He helps her up and smiles, "Let's go take a hot bath, then you can have a snack, and I can have a blood pouch, and we can get some much-needed sleep. How's that sound?" he didn't wait for a response; he used his vampire strength instead of his standard strength this time and lifted her up and carried her to the bathroom. He got the bath going, stripped and dropped his clothes in the hamper, then waited for her to do the same. "You can get in first. I am going to get us some clean towels." He kissed her cheek, then headed to the clean laundry basket and grabbed two towels. He places them on the towels on the bathroom rug, folded neatly. He slips in behind her and wraps his arms around her waist.

She laughed softly when he swept her up like she weighed nothing, her arms instinctively looping around his neck as she looked at him with a teasing smirk. “Show off,” she whispered against his ear, though her voice held nothing but affection. "Well, it never will stop because I plan to keep you around forever" he buries his face in her neck and smiles "Someday I will have to decide if I want to turn you or not...that will be a tough choice" he kisses her neck then sighs "I want to make sure it's a decision we are birth certain about so there are no regrets because I had no say in being turned and that was something that took so long for me to come to terms with" he sighs softly then hugs her tighter "I love you to pieces and I want you to be free to make your own choices and not feel stuck...if you feel stuck with me...you may no longer love me...and that's one of my biggest fears" he goes silent as he focuses on the warm water, he closes his eyes as he relaxes. The water relaxed his muscles and helped distract him from his messy mind.

He got the bath going, stripped and dropped his clothes in the hamper, then waited for her to do the same. "You can get in first. I am going to get us some clean towels." He kissed her cheek, then headed to the clean laundry basket and grabbed two towels. He places them on the towels on the bathroom rug, folded neatly. He slips in behind her and wraps his arms around her waist.

He smiled as she rubbed her nose against his. He watched her with a look of nothing but admiration and love. He tiredly wrapped his arms around her and pulled her down. He leaned up and kissed her cheek and trailed it over to her ear before speaking softly "I love you so much" he nibbles on her ear playfully then goes limp beneath her with his arms loose around her, he wanted to hold onto her for as long as possible even though he was tired and could hardly hold his arms up, he was stubborn and would do it no matter how tired he was. He kept his gaze up on her as she relaxed on top of him, he gently rubbed her back in soothing circles as they cuddled.
