♫ Accidental Meeting ♫ | Jieun & Hansol
Not every family has the chance to live an Happy Ever After. Some are born into broken homes, some have to deal with tragedies coming along the way, but Hansol had little to no experience on that ball park. His mom was this perpetually funny lady with awesome hair and his dad, despite also being a business man engaged in some governmental activities had a great spirit and determination. The result of that mixture? Hansol, the one and only son of the couple.
He grew up as, maybe not the brightest student, but sure as hell a very noticeable one. Not only he got the job done, as any high schooler should, he befriended everyone (including some teachers) and his energy was just something else. But enough of him!
No, ok maybe just a little more of him, because now that Hansol was living the life of an University student things have changed a little. Now he had almost every single hour of his day filled up with Club activities, practice, classes, rehearsals – he was turning into quite the busy young boy. On your face, people who said he would never get more responsible!
In fact the reason his hand was injured right now was because, well, he tried too hard. He wanted to do great too soon and ended up hurting himself mid-dance classes. Well that was a bust. Bright side, he killed that hand-stand before wacking his tendon, now he had to wear a cast for a couple of weeks. But overall that was turning out to be a great week as he was slowly but surely getting to know his classmates and just have all sorts of fun! On the scale of things, if there was one tiny little detail - loosely using this expression - that could have ruined everything was to be a witness of a car accident. Literally. One second you are just minding your own business and on the other you have less that one second to make this life changing decision and act on it! Hansol didn’t even process quite the reality of what the fuck was happening before he grabbed that bee-linning (and soon to get hit by a car) girl by the waist and shoved her out of the way.
What the hell are you trying to die?! - was what he thought, but what he said was:
— Fuck! Are you okay? — Now that there was no risk of her turning into a tortilla Hansol could really see that her was oh yes very drunk. His hand was hurting now, but he made sure to hold her by the shoulders. You never know with drunk people?
Jieun would most likely regret drinking by the next day and would probably vow to never drink a single drop of alcohol for the rest of her life, that is if she actually remembered anything from today. If either he mom or dad had seen her in the state she was in at the moment they would yell at her, telling her that she was being irresponsible or something along those lines. But then again, to Jieun at the moment, her dad wouldn’t have the right to really say anything since he had turned into an alcoholic after him and Jieun’s mom divorced and often acted a lot worse than how Jieun was at the moment.
This person in particular, Hansol, was very much accustomed to drunk people. Sometimes, he was one of them. So all that aggressive and moody behavior was deeply known and familiar. That's why he just flashed a smile when the scare faded away a little.
— I'm not trying to hit on you but that car sure was. — His hands were already safely warm inside his pockets and he was not going to let that drunk Most Likely to Get Run Over, shit-faced and clearly lost poor soul walk all by herself.
So he just pretended he was her friend and had nothing better to do in his life and just tagged along, watching standing up as she punched her phone and yelled at the touchscreen like she was trying to pick a fight.
— Yes do that, — I mean, he was going to take care of her as much as possible, but as if he was gonna lose that chance to watch that drunken show from the first row. — Show it who's boss! Take shit from no phone.
